Dear Genesis Mining Community.

As some of you may or may not be aware, there have been problems with the Bitcoin blockchain recently where transactions can take a long time to be confirmed.

Some of our customers seem to have suffered from this issue and most of the time it is due to them either paying no transaction fee or a small transaction fee.

Some older Bitcoin wallets or online providers do not allow you to change the amount of the transaction fee but as it is becoming more of an issue we advise you to contact support of your online wallet supplier and ask them what the transaction fee is and if will be possible to change it to a higher amount in the future so that your payments can confirm faster.

If you have an older wallet installed on your PC, where the fee can not be changed and might be set to 0 or 0.0001 or smaller as a transaction fee, then you do run the risk of having your payment not only to us but to any item you purchase with Bitcoin being held up for hours or even days. Check the help file or website of the wallet that you use to see if there is an updated version of it available or an option in the menus where you can change the amount you send.

Also, some users at the moment are not sending us the exact amount when they are sending their Bitcoins to us so sometimes we end up being a bit short. Can you make sure when sending payouts to us it is exactly the same as advertised on the screen after codes etc have been entered.

Please remember also when sending Bitcoin to us, to send it within 15 minutes of you getting your QR code or wallet address onscreen as Bitcoin values will change and if the amount you send does not match the amount on our system then it will not be automatically approved and then has to be done manually by our IT Support team and that is a further delay to you.

Most likely because the fee has changed over time.

If you spent more time researching instead of just writing negative posts in your short posting history, then perhaps you would have found this on their site.

What is the maintenance fee?

The maintenance fee covers all costs related to mining including, inter-alia:

electricity cost
cooling
maintenance work
hosting services
It is calculated per MH/s scrypt or per GH/s sha256 and automatically deducted on a daily basis. For the current maintenance fee, please check contract details.

I have a feeling that as their fees have decreased over time, they feel it is better to read the latest contract because otherwise you might think the fee is more than it should be.

By the way the contract is something you can view before purchasing, infact it is something you should read before purchasing. Contracts are quite important things.

They have a twitter page, a facebook page, instead of spending 5 minutes writing here, you could write on those and ask what the daily fee is. Simple really!

Here in Holland you pay 0.245 euro cent for 1 kilowatt.  If you use lot more that normal you need to pay even extra.
So mining here would be extreme painfully process, thanks to Genesis Mining can can still mine.

And remember i made roi some time ago. Each day is a profit day now

What I am surprised is that even though the majority of people here post real problems in this thread, 600 days ROI, really expensive, some updates about X11 which they promised, etc, GM stuff has never even tried to discuss these issues which shows they do not really care and they consider the community to be sheep to take advantage of.

This negative post is inspired by the fact I ve been trying hard for the last year to find A SINGLE PERSON on this forum who has reached ROI with Genesis Mining.

If there s no single person who has reached ROI with them, this means this service takes money from their clients and provides next to nothing. True, they are not ponzi, but they are a nice cloud which takes advantage of newbies to take their money and give them very little back.

What is the purpose of Genesis Mining if you cannot make money on their cloud? To take money from other people? Ha?

As long this is the case, I will post wherever I want and whenever I want, simply to warn people about the level of service they provide.

Regarding ROI I did write recently that  if anyone has been mining Litecoin over time especially with Scrypt 1 year contracts then they might have reached ROI mining Litecoin especially if they sold a few days ago when Litecoin was reaching 7-8 USD each. Even now it is still at 4. If they purchased their contracts in August for example, they could still be mining a nice amount of Litecoin each day all due to the fact that the mining difficulty of Litecoin started dropping quite alot in January and February.  Not every GM customer will come here and read this post but I am pretty sure there must be some people out there who must have made ROI. Perhaps they might let you know sometime Ivan.

This is over 75 percent back since September so yes it has taken a long time but I still think it will be less than 600 days as we are not even up to a year yet.
