In regard to some of the things we need like richlist, games etc, it doesn't seem any of us can do much coding.
shall we gather some MAST each and make some bounties for those things?

i'm not a webmaster but if website is taken down i can make another one.
i only ask not to be the registrar and not to pay on my own for hosting costs.

I'm not totally against the idea of another PoW phase. The timing needs to be right though, I think it will generate some more interest in the coin for a time and we need to capitalize on that so having the wallet integration done first would be best I think.

Also if BTC - BTC is introduced then MAST can effectively replace services such as bitcoinfog, maybe that's an angle that could work somewhere.

We can easily replace the site. It was just a basic Joomla CMS installation and template, nothing custom at all. It is not like there was months of development time that went into it. Unfortunately vir6 was paid bounties and donations for his effort, so its sad to see that go to waste.

Starting bounties is a good idea, but our policy so far as to been avoid collecting funds from the community unless there are specific, definitive, agreed upon objectives in place - otherwise it just becomes a mess. I can personally contribute 10,000 MAST if we have something useful we're putting it towards.

BTC-BTC is certainly possible, but it doesn't provide buy support. The last thing we want to do currently is introduce sell pressure on a low-volume market.

damn you really don't want to open your eyes

you know what ? do what you want, i'm not in this anymore, just remember i warned you about what to do, but i guess you know more about online marketing than someone who do that for a living.

also get ready to make another website by yourself, after being treated like that i will not be able to keep it online for a long time...

and i cannot control the investors who have followed me and have about 200k so i guess some dumps are coming...

thanks to etoque and kakp who understand what's really going on, the others are blind.

it was a fun ride.

Thanks. Now, maybe the rest of us can get on with having a productive discussion?
Dumping all coins now. Shitty coin. Worthless non-caring dev team. Good bye!

Sure it doesn't add buy support, but it adds volume and also adds exposure to the coin. Not saying it's the most important thing we need right now but I definitely think it has some value.

Agreed casu. It isn't particularly difficult to implement, and will create hype and interest - we would just prefer to see more volume on the buy side of the market before adding it because avoiding sell pressure is best for now.

Interesting to see these guys saying they are dumping the coin when there has not been any substantial volume on Bittrex in the past 3 hours.. and, I'm personally buying if they are selling. Already bought 40k at 1500 this afternoon.. great price Smiley

They probably dumped days ago and are just trolling the thread now.

Yeah the price is sad but realistically there is no reason for people to dump. I'm sure most of us made a descent amount of money mining and dumping the first 2 times. I can wait and see.. Hopefully things get better. Here is a crazy idea to add of my list of crazy things. What if somehow the wallet is merge mining a POS/POW setup. By this I mean that we have our wallets open staking, while it is staking it is merge mining and recycling to Mast at the same time. Earning our stake + the merge mined coins that are converted to Mast. It would give people a way to stake more coins without the limitation of being a big bag holder. Thoughts, suggestions?

That doesn't sound technically possible, but is an interesting idea. Mining via your wallet's cpu would be one of the least optimized forms of mining, too. Keep the crazy ideas coming though, you never know when one might strike gold Smiley

Yeah I hear ya. But maybe focus it on CPU only coins, until they go GPU like the Cryptonites.

I saw something that did wonders for bumbaclot coin i dont have the experience to code it but i would gladly pitch in on hosting costs, it was a troll box bot that when people mentioned keywords in the troll box(ie. Mast, Mastcoin in our case), it paid them a small amount of coin, it was set to limit to once per 5 mins per nick, it also had the option to tip users the same amount as if they typed the keyword. all the user had to do to register was msg or say in the channel register <address>, the bot associated the nick with the address and when the nick said a keyword it paid the address, the coin that was doin this became popular within hours everyone talked about it made meme etc. your not giving away enuff to harm the coin with dumps but it encourages ppl to look up the coin/download the wallet and market for us, i don't think this idea will get us to the moon but i don't see how it could hurt?

X11 is a good algo to balance out the power of the CPU v. the GPU.  I got about the same hash rate mining with my Xenon and with my R9 270X, although I don't know of any X11 coins that are merged mined.  Perhaps add another POW session, dev...might get some buzz going around this coin.

EDIT: Correction to processor

Need something done in C??  PM me!!

Do you actually mean a troll box bot, or an IRC bot? I haven't personally seen any troll box bots that would do that, but an IRC bot would be pretty easy to do. We already have a tip bot on our IRC channel in #mastcoin, after all.
