Didn't take the time to read last 2 pages (I've read all teh others Tongue)

But if it has not been mentioned. I vote for silkcoin to be added to the recycler. I'd love to shove my coins through it. rather than sell em for pennies I'd be helping Mast.

So erm yeah, add SC. Not Soul Calibre, SilkCoin

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

The coin is gaining some recognition over twitter , and the price is rising as well, meanwhile I'll keep staking my coins and re-tweeting all the good info about the coin.

SilkCoin is a great idea for an addition to CoinRecycler, thanks for the suggestion!

We're been working a lot on our Twitter presence to help drive attention to MAST. In conjunction with our efforts to buy MAST on exchanges as we mentioned in our recent announcement, this seems to be working well so far. Everything is still ramping up, but things are looking a brighter for MastCoin this week.

has anyone ever played the ponzi game some coins have made? it works like this:

you put in x number of coins. then you have to wait until 20 other people have made a deposit, and you get back 20% more coins than you put in. once it stops getting people putting coins in, those people lose their coins. it's a gamble and everyone knows that at some point the deposits will stop being made and the last 20 people won't get paid out. but it's a fun game and can generate interest. but if you put in 500 mast...an hour later you'll have 550 mast. it's just mostly fun entertainment, i wonder if anyone here knows how to code the game. we should definitely do a different thread for it though, it will clog this one up hard.

It could be a nice game but you are risking your coins for a 10% reward, that's a bad idea. Like if you risk your coins for a chance to double them that will be great, like at the casino, but risking for 10/20% that's low as hell. Most people in crypto risk their btc for a chance to x3, x4.

have you seen the game in action though? it's actually more fun than you think. because everybody that has coins in is like come on people put coins in! it's a good way to increase popularity.

Ponzi games can be fun and a great way to grow the community, as long as they are run honestly and the operator doesn't run off with the funds! Several other coins have had problems with that, but the ones that have trustworthy game admins usually get a lot of users.

Yup Yup! We just got to keep it up! We need more than just re-tweets. We need more peoples ideas and feelings about the coin (positive) We need to be more organized, but organic feeling at the same time

We have some great news to announce!
As we mentioned a few days ago, we've been buying MAST on the open market to support the price and to fund several upcoming giveaway and bounty programs. We've accumulated a substantial amount of MAST to put towards those efforts so far, and are continuing to do so.

Our first project is going to be funding a large giveaway program.
We're going to start accepting donations from the community to help, specifically for funding the giveaway program. If you are interested, please donate MAST to the following address: D6awKC5L6iJJK6LMnCi5A2mQzjPS5RaqGB.

The development team will match community contributions at a rate of 1:1, up to 10,000 MAST.
Our goal for initially funding the giveaway program is to raise at least 20,000 MAST. If we can raise at least 10,000 MAST from community donations and 10,000 MAST from the development team's matching, it should be an easy goal to reach!

We'll be starting with a Twitter giveaway tomorrow, and then branching out to IRC, altcoin websites, and more.

Yea, is there like a estimated time frame on the release of the integrated wallet, like 1 week or 2 weeks or however long?

Haha here we go again, drama...

No, the community is not lazy.

Devs are asking for the community to donate but they still are not able to deliver release date, new features...

They still don't understand it cannot work this way.

First work hard, release things fast, give ETA... and the community will see you are serious and will start donate and help more...

I'm sorry man but that the truth, accept it and you will be able to go forward.

Blaming the community is really bad.

Alright I'll speak for just myself. When it comes to this coin, I'm lazy.

Unproductive commentary from etoque, kakp, and vir6 have been removed. The more they post in unison at the same time, the more obvious it becomes that they're probably sockpuppet accounts. We don't need that in our community.

Wait, so the next donation of 1000 will be matched at 2:1 then? 1:1 from haxalot2012 and 1:1 from the dev team!? Wow! This reminds me of MAST's SuperBlocks.. SuperDonations! Smiley

I post this on some other threads and will post it here too since I believe it applies to Mast as well

As investor in this coin, I have say this, and it might not sit well with a few people but oh well. With an ever increasing competitive altcoin scene, its imperative that development stays fast and updates remain frequent.

Why: because when the devs stay silent, even if they are legit, the price and volume tank. And the more they tank, the harder it is to rebound, regardless of future releases. So protecting the price and volume through constant updates is extremely necessary especially in the beginning phases. So I would urge the devs to give updates more frequently, and be more specific and less vague. And anybody who wants to argue that Microsoft took 10 years to develop windows, should re-evaluate that argument. Cryptos (for now at least) work much differently, and even a week of inactivity would spell disaster.

People always want to dump their holdings and go catch the flavor of the week. In order to stay ahead of the curve, frequent updates, and more importantly a speedy development while keeping the community and investors informed during the process is important. This will keep the volume and price stable, which is important. I cant stress that enough. Yea some hype could be considered unethical, but in the current altcoin scene, its necessary to keep the exposure. Some developers go their way with developing the features, and stay quiet, killing the price and volume. And when they do finally release it, the coin barely sees any movement, because they never established themselves as a major coin to begin with. Only established altcoin devs can stay quiet for a reasonable long period of time without suffering the consequences. Examples of these established alts would be DRK, XC, VRC, CLOAK. All other alts are fucked if the devs are not constantly active and steadfast.

Oh, and an example of an alt that is doing it right at the moment is VOOT, because their volume has stayed in the top 10 on bittrex for weeks now. The dev gives constant updates, stays active and is releasing features frequently. As a result, the community is growing and whales are getting involved. Love em or hate em, whales are essential to get any coin to that next level.

take care your post will be deleted for "Unproductive commentary"

seriously dev don't start censorship, and wake up, or this coin will be dead soon.

vir6, kakp and others are right, why are you asking for donations before releasing anything ? you need to first release thing and give frequent updates, then you can ask for donations and help... i think you really don't know what you are doing right now.

I go back to a post I made weeks ago concerning the recycler. I said at the time that coins should be added regularly to keep the buzz going with voting etc etc .It's only this way you can get people talking and recognising what this coin is all about. Anyone reading the website 'NEXT VOTE COMING SOON' for the last month will just think the coin is dead and not active .Lets get voting again on adding coins, it's the only way at the moment . I for one invested more money in your coin when you announced the new wallet which i know will be excellent when released, but we need it soon . I spent days mailing crypto news threads concerning the coin last month, so have been active in the community as well as investing my hard earned money into your coin. So let's have some updates on the wallet, And please lets get this recycler going again.

Thanks guys for the support,

This is exactly what i keep saying for more than a month but devs are blind and lazy.

First they were blaming the community for not enough marketing, now they say those who post negatives posts are multi accounts, they delete posts and ask for donations.

This is really sad, please dev it's not too late, open your eyes, i told you for weeks you need to add coins, make votes, communicate more, work faster...

Deleting posts is the worst thing to do, someone will open an unmoderated thread and it will be even worse...

I agree that if i were the only one to complain you could just ignore me but please look around, the IRC is dead, no one is talking, no one is buying, and everyone here is complaining, you can't say this are all my accounts...

You need to listen to the community and the investors or nobody will invest in MAST.

I'm just giving you advices because i want this coin to succeed.
