I am tapped out, I can only move the price so much. Got it back up to 2019 for a little bit, then somebody helped get it up to 2030. Sadly I did it with only .001 BTC. Buy support is fading fast.
I'm the one who took it to 2030, but as i have checked it went below 1K. I don't get it , why is everybody dumping like crazy? are you dumb? HOLD TO YOUR FUCKIN COINS!!

Are they dumb?

Hmmm...  bitch around on the forums, dump their coins, do absolutely nothing to help, whine at the Dev because he can't edit 35+ header files and the main and design the layout fast enough, everything needs to be done tomorrow by him apparently, even tho it's changing the wallet drastically and isn't an easy task by any means...  They seriously have no grasp on what a project like this takes, this is innovative not a simple copy + paste from another code...  You think DRK came out with it's anonymity over night?  Hell no, that took a lot of work and now people just copypasta it into their code so they too look "innovative".  Granted, Dev could've waited to release coin after the features were developed, but maybe he was hoping for any iota of help from the community because it's a big ass programming project.

Yeah, I'm gonna say their dumb or intentionally driving prices down.

My hope is maybe it is whale manipulation to buy in for a good steady long rise pump...again I am known to be quite a dreamer.

If it is manipulation they are doing it right , somebody dumped 25k MAST between 850-900 Sat. it just take a small news from the dev and a little pump (1.5 BTC) to take the price back to 4k Sat. So those lucky buy orders will be making almost 5X in their purchase. Not bad

Another avenue that would be attractive because we've had some pretty big highs is to buy a bunch now buy mintpal votes to get 1st place and sell to break even/make a profit, If it were 1st on mintpal we'd grow a much larger community fast and possibly back up to 30k or higher, but since I'm BTC poor, I can't necessarily do it, but the idea seems sound

bittrex has way more volume than mintpal now. And mintpal destroy voted coins. Ninja listed coins are the ones that survive. Mintpal would bludgeon this coin atm. And paying for votes is throwing money away.

The point is moot as it's no longer possible to pay for Mintpal votes.

Exactly , and as someone point out. Bittrex has more volume than Mintpal right now. So cryptsy should be the other exchange to be considered.

Agreed. Of course a Mintpal ninja-add would be great, as despite the volume there dwindling a bit lately, getting added there without voting is still quite an accolade. They say they do it for coins that show innovation so I think there is some hope for that when the integrated wallet comes.

I got a few coins when this first came out. I mined a bit and bought a few. Everything is working but still people are all crazy about new features and improvements. I would say if you want the value of the coin go up then offer services for mast. Support the devs on github if you code c++/Qt. Do something besides whining. Most Alts are down and in every thread ppl are complaining about price going dooooooown.

- 3 pages of people complaining

Dev, will you keep deleting posts and ignore the community ?

or will you listen to the community and start doing the right things ?

I post this on some other threads and will post it here too since I believe it applies to Mast as well

As investor in this coin, I have say this, and it might not sit well with a few people but oh well. With an ever increasing competitive altcoin scene, its imperative that development stays fast and updates remain frequent.

Why: because when the devs stay silent, even if they are legit, the price and volume tank. And the more they tank, the harder it is to rebound, regardless of future releases. So protecting the price and volume through constant updates is extremely necessary especially in the beginning phases. So I would urge the devs to give updates more frequently, and be more specific and less vague. And anybody who wants to argue that Microsoft took 10 years to develop windows, should re-evaluate that argument. Cryptos (for now at least) work much differently, and even a week of inactivity would spell disaster.

People always want to dump their holdings and go catch the flavor of the week. In order to stay ahead of the curve, frequent updates, and more importantly a speedy development while keeping the community and investors informed during the process is important. This will keep the volume and price stable, which is important. I cant stress that enough. Yea some hype could be considered unethical, but in the current altcoin scene, its necessary to keep the exposure. Some developers go their way with developing the features, and stay quiet, killing the price and volume. And when they do finally release it, the coin barely sees any movement, because they never established themselves as a major coin to begin with. Only established altcoin devs can stay quiet for a reasonable long period of time without suffering the consequences. Examples of these established alts would be DRK, XC, VRC, CLOAK. All other alts are fucked if the devs are not constantly active and steadfast.

Oh, and an example of an alt that is doing it right at the moment is VOOT, because their volume has stayed in the top 10 on bittrex for weeks now. The dev gives constant updates, stays active and is releasing features frequently. As a result, the community is growing and whales are getting involved. Love em or hate em, whales are essential to get any coin to that next level.

I repost that because thats the main reason why the price is down. Not so hard to understand. This is a financial market.

Couple things here...  Everyones bitching at Devs when most aren't doing a god damned thing...  I understand you want to protect your investment, everyone does.  But that being said, there are certain points people will get tired of others shit and find it easier just to walk away.  Hell, I would've done it already if I was Dev.  I'm TRYING to make some sort of dice game, but I have 2 years experience in C++ and I have to work in C# on a windows application which I've never done before, not even close, but I'M TRYING!  I guarantee some of you are programmers as well with way more experience than me and you wont even lift a finger...  AltxF4 even gave you a fucking straight up source code for a old BTC Ponzi game that would help encourage other to get off their asses as well in order to turn a profit off of it...  Now in case anyone wants to step up, do some slight modifying and start it up, here's the link AGAIN, hell, you could even put it on mastcoin.com, it's not like the domain isn't paid for already...  seriously...  If you're going to bitch at the Dev, you should be fucking required to post a list of things you've done to help in any way.  IMO, the only one with any sort of right to complain right now is Vir6.

Nan, not so.

dice game and ponzi game won't affect the price lol. Be a little serious. at this level is the dev take much time over this coin or this is in slow dead

You're the biggest FUD fucker on here.  Go. the. fuck. away.  "I'm protecting my investment by trash talking the coin".

Stupidest logic I've ever fucking heard, either pull you head out of your ass and do something useful, or drop off the face of this forum.

You are actually my shining star when I was pointing out useless whiny people.

no, he is telling the truth.

all those games ideas or services for mastcoin are useless if dev is not releasing new features and giving news first... if you have a little bit of knowledge in marketing you will understand the logic.

Just a little reminder for the miners out there (Just saw it as the header on IRC) if you still wish to mine MAST coinking.io is a multipool that pays out in mast...  just a thought, it'd add a bit of buying pressure, depending on what kind of miner you have ofc

Dev stays quiet, panic selling ensues. Im out guys. Its been fun but this dev team, as good as they are at coding, they clearly dont understand how the crypto intangibles work like Ive stated in my last post. And Vir6 was right all along, I doubted it at first, but the market never lies. Good luck to you guys. By the way I will never dump...Ive put up my sell orders at random price points, and they either get filled, or they dont. In any case good luck. Btw I was speaking to someone else in another IRC who is looking to get into MAST, and they said that the coin recycler should be renamed to ShitCoin Absorber...in all seriousness it might bring the exposure that Mast needs.
