I mined TAC right at the start, then I stopped to allow other people to get some coins, I would have taken too much of the available supply...

Coming back now as it seems to have matured rather nicely and it's holding it's own on Bittrex...

I don't know enough about the developers to say whether or not it will be as big as DRK, but it certainly has got great potential... So far so good  Grin

I see you have been very active on the forum, which is great...

I read your story about you and your father. Sorry to hear that. Yeah I have mined a few TAC from the start but then change to JPC, should be able to make more money with JPC but I always see that coin as a joke so I cash out very early before the pump. I mined DRK at the beginning to but dumped it like other miners, so bought back 100 times more expensive than I have sold. Now TAC is the real another chance to make money so I need to be more active  Grin

If you have some plans to promote TAC please tell me if I could do anything to help. (But it's still too soon now, we need to mine a little more  Grin).

No need to apologise, it was more funny than anything else... He doesn't understand crypto, you should hear how I have to explain the blockchain and mining algorithms to him  Roll Eyes

I'm holding my TAC for at least 12 months, crypto has taught me one thing, you mine what you think will be profitable in 6-12 months time, strong hands make money... And no dumps... Slowly release your coins...

Good coins promote themselves, I'm very glad the dev went his own algorithm aren't you?

Yep. This coin is exactly like DRK 5 months ago. This just came out in the time of a lot shit/clone coins so a lot of people don't pay attention to it. Yeah if you think short term you could earn enough money for living, but for big money you need to a strong hand. Thanks for the suggestion. I will hold most of my TAC but maybe I will cashout 10% at 100k sat / TAC  Grin
Btw how big is your farm anyway? AMD?

Yes I will slowly start to release a few coins at around the 100k mark as well... We will get there, it's just a matter of time...

Here is a picture of my farm, all AMD, I didn't want to go NVIDIA because I really couldn't be fucked building twice the amount of rigs  Grin : http://i1242.photobucket.com/albums/gg530/Ignition75/DSC_0008_zps4d33cb7e.jpg

ahaha this the one i have rented on betarigs

This needs to be fixed first. Lost 10 hours of mining on just this one miner. I had 3 like that when I woke up. I have gone as far as leaving everything @ defualt except the intensity and TC... and still get this. It does not matter pool either. Tried 3 listed and all 3 end up leaving my rigs idle for unknown amount of time.

The one below quit for 10 hours. 9AM is when I found this one.

I have the same problem. Any idea how to fix this?

I'm having a similar problem with the miner display. Diff share is 0.000/0.000 and best share is 0.000. Also, on the pools it show 0 shares, but I am mining coins still. WU is also low. I'm using the updated miner for 6/11.

I got 6.666, 6.67 and 6.74 Mhs for three vapor 280x cards. Gpu is 1160 with I 21. All three cards are stable and running for several days.  Cheesy

Which AMD drivers do you use? I still use the 13.12 driver and the best I could get from my card is 6.2Mhs.

I can't be arsed running MSI Afterburner on each rig... Waiting for a miner where you can set --gpu-engine either in bat file or through the cfg file...

I'm going to try dropping the TAC kernel into SGMiner5  Grin

I normally run --gpu-engine 1250 on the Toxics so maybe I'll try 1300  Tongue

Edit: There is not one kernel file, it's a mix of 5 or so, there goes that idea...

delete all the *.bin file in the talkcoin-miner folder, or whatever you define your kernel location in conf file. set --gpu-engine 1250 and it should be fine.

Have you tried to recompile the miner with adl support (I think it is what is missing in this miner, just need to add the adl files from AMD SDK to the ADL (or something like that) directory and recompile

It seems there was some bugs with the precompiled windows version and ADL. Try from talkcoin-miner, press G, C, choose your GPU and try to set gpu engine clock. Tell me if it works. I don't have windows so I can only speculate. Sorry dude.

Have to say, the admins over at DwarfPool are pretty awesome. They helped me out of a little pinch that I wasn't expecting to get out of (mined to wrong anonymous address - off by one character) they corrected my payout - totally nice of them because it was totally my fault. So far one of the smoothest mining experiences I've had so far, thanks to the Dwarves!
