So what makes this coin special?  I followed some link bait titled thread about free giveaways and then come across this coin which seems to have no real point to it as far as becoming a currency?  How would the give away be funded?  I thought it said no premine...  or was it a sneaky premine  Then by using the bait of the hardware the coindevs are hoping to pump up the price?  How does it work ?

I'm paying for it out of my own pocket. There was no premine. Weeks after launch and we are still only on block 3306. With 8 minute blocks, there was not an instamine either

it was the fairest coinlauch ever. Accessable for everybody: Even I was able to mine nearly half of a coin with two 400Mhash Blockerupters.

Warning To All Miners I have Mined 2 Days With 1TH at http://2014.hardcoreminers.com/index.php And noticed My wallet Today Had 0 Coins In It. After going to pool and looking it appears some one has changed the payout address causing it to withdraw to there account and causing me to loose 8 coins. So Warning do not mine at that pool and I am done with this coin.

Have you noticed if any of the other pools you mine at are still paying to you?
Mine hasn't been changed but I did notice you can't specify auto payout any less than 1.0
