This is pretty cool. Been following HYPER for about two months now and I like the concept and all the ideas surrounding this alt. I'm not a PC gamer myself, but have always kept up with what's going on in the gaming and tech industries and HYPER represents both. It's great to come across all you passionate peoples who are working together towards innovation and progress. Should be a fun ride to watch HYPER keep taking off.

Hi guys I have contacted this crypto ATM to see if they are interested in adding HYPER https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=694691.0 I have also offered them a bounty.

I'm still following up with the Multipool and hope to hear back from them soon. It is disappointing to say the least. If anyone knows any mutilpool operators who may be interested in adding HYPER please let me know. With the current exchange rate and trading volume running a multipool will be profitable for an operator so lets see if we can get another HYPER multipool made!

Hi guys,

I have been staking HYPER and am just wondering if I'm doing something wrong or if its just the way it works. I have about 41,000 HYPER in the wallet and it is open and unlocked all the time. Beside stake: it says I am staking about 30 coins all the time (it changes a little bit but is always around 30). Just wondering if there is a way to stake more or if it's working just how it should.

This is because your wallet is staking the staked coins you are receiving daily, and so you are staking more transactions daily, and some of these are smaller. The best way to remedy this is to create a new wallet and send your coins there to reset the coin age. You can also just open and stake your wallet once a week or even once a month and be paid all your staked HYPER then to be paid more at once You will still receive the same amount of HYPER as if you had been staking daily so this is also an option. To start staking once a month or week effectively make sure to transfer all your coins to a new HYPER wallet you own to reset their coin age.

I'm trying to send money via the wallet, but upon clicking send it gives me an error: "Error: Transaction creation failed". What's up with this?

Glad to hear it worked out for you Legionnairez. This is a known issue with the Bitcoin core that can be caused by having too many small transactions and dust in the wallet. Please make sure to keep backups of your wallet.dat that can be found in your %AppData% folder in your PC. It sounds to me like you are also staking your coins every single day - I would recommend resetting the coin age by sending your coins to a new wallet as per my above answer, and then staking the coins once a week or so instead of every single day. Most importantly make sure you have backups of your wallet.dat!

Ok one last big announcement for today.

If anyone is having sync issues with their HYPER wallet downloading the blockchain please see this help tutorial: http://hypercrypto.com/forum/index.php?topic=10.msg6155#msg6155

It is most likely caused by a minor bug in the wallet whereby you are downloading the blockchain, but sometimes the nice green blockchain downloading bar doesn't display. There are plans for a new wallet with an in-built decentralized BTC / HYPER exchange and more. We can fix some of these small bugs when we release the new wallet. If anyone has any requests for the next HYPER wallet please post below! Integrating Hyperzanda directly into the wallet is a possiblity.

Hi guys

I'm sorry to hear about this issue.

When you hover your mouse over the bottom right of the wallet (next to the connection strength bars) does it say you are connected to 8 or so nodes? If you are connected then you will just need to leave the wallet on for a while (go for a walk, a coffee, watch your favorite movie etc). You should see the blockchain continue to download but it may take some time.

Due to HYPER's very fast transaction speeds (60 seconds) there are a lot of blocks to download and depending on the speed of your internet connection it may take a day or more to fully download the blockchain (24 hours or more). Depending on the speed of your internet connedtion you may need to have the wallet open for 24 hours or more before the blockchain fully downloads.

There is a minor bug in the HYPER wallet where it may not show it is downloading the blockchain, but the wallet is actually downloading the blockchain. You can check this by hovering your mouse over the bottom right of the wallet and it should say it is "catching up with the network", and tell you the % downloaded and how much there is to go.

We have plans to add a BTC / HYPER decentralized exchange to the wallet, and some other functionality. We can also fix some of these small bugs when we release the new wallet version. We are currently deploying more HYPER nodes and we will troubleshoot this sync error but at this stage I believe it is caused by the minor bug above.

If you are not seeing that you are connected to any nodes in the bottom right of the wallet (it says "connected to 0 nodes" when you hover over the connection strength bars) then most likely your firewall is blocking HYPER QT (please check your antivirus / firewall and make an exception). If you are still not seeing connections to nodes please follow the instructions in the .txt document bundled with th HYPER QT for Windows that tells you how to make a HYPER.conf that will make sure you pick up the nodes and download the blockchain.

If none of this works (remember if you are seeing nodes you will download the blockchain you just need to be patient and let it run). If it still doesn't work please post here again or PM me!

I have about 100 HYPER in my wallet. And I have got my HYPER from "Mined" steadily. But Since I locked my wallet then I saw this notice from my wallet : "Info: Minting suspened due to locked wallet" and after I have got #HYPER from "Mined" less than bofore.
Can you tell me why, please ?

To stake your HYPER and earn your interest you need to "unlock" your wallet.

Simply click the text at the bottom right of the wallet that says "unlock wallet" and enter your password.

After doing this your wallet will now start staking. Just leave it open as long as possible

You can also just open and unlock your wallet once a week or month if you would like to be paid more HYPER but less often (it works out the same amount).
