Why ain't the wallet staking even with the update? Anyone else having this problem? No use of POS if nothing happens.

Cheers. Cool
stake is a matter of luck between 8 hours and 30 days

Quote
Technical specifications
Algorithm: X11 - make sure you use the correct miner - 50% Power/Heat Reduction using X11
Total coins:  5.5 Million
Block Times: 90 Seconds
POS interest: 3.33% per year
Min stake time: 8 hours
Max Stake time: 30 Days

Anonymous Transactions: In Development - Functional Wallet Release (see link above)
Payment Cards: In Development
Android Wallet: In Development
BlockChain v2.0: The blockchain is more than just money...

Hi braxx,

Yes yes I know the technical info of the POS but but but... Cheesy Seems like the wallet is not doing absolutely nothing. Have the most up to date version and after building the blockinfo by deleting the original generated I got the wallet and transactions inside the wallet to sync after synchronization of the blockchain.

Any thoughts?

Thx in advance.

staking has a timeframe. that means staking can occur from 8hrs and can take up to 30 days. since this coin isn't 30 days old you don't have to worry.

staking = a gamble that you win in a specific timeframe. and yes i know your wallet says "estimated time xxxminutes/days".... it's estimated, not guaranteed.

@teka

think XC should be the first coin having in big red letters an Explanation of how staking works on Website. seriously, everyday there are uncountable number of ppl who ask that question. all fudders? maybe, but i think they r just too lazy to read or are too far away from technics.

No worries of FUDing. Just curious if my wallet or my knowledge on this wallet is up to date. Smiley POS is familiar. Smiley

I have been receiving POS for a while now. It takes time for it to get going.

...don't think there is an outstanding design in the submissions.

+1. I don't think it's a good idea to design a logo without first creating a brand identity and narrative.

its 2014 only way to make a logo is make a bounty and whack it up at http://99designs.com/
get the professionals to compete...

i think solid and cryptodruti are at 99designs level, they just haven't put it in 3d or iron or something. but the arrangement is great
If you look at my post history you'll see it I didn't find out about the contest until late, and had troubling find the thread for it lol. Point is I didn't have much time and wasn't sure what the community was looking for. I explained all of this in the original contest thread but accidentally deleted it when I was editing the post   Cheesy. I perceived the contest as, submit an idea, have the community decide and then from there agree on a theme and adjustments would be made to the logo, and I think that should be the case. Since then i've adjusted my logo, and i'll be posting it later before the end of the contest.

Oh please.  Since XC launched, every coin is coming out with an announcement that anonymous transactions are in development.  Are any other coins publicly testing their anonymous system?  No!  Anyone can say they are developing. So zip it.

We've already hit the bottom and broke out.

This is a correction, you can't jump 30% without a slight reversal back to test the last major support level, which is around 0.0011 - 0.00115, looking at the buy support we should rebound back up after testing it and start a new jump.

WTF is there no more freedom of speech?

I am just saying there will be pump competition on mintpal  NOT THAT IT IS SUPERIOR TO XC
XC RULES btw... In my opinion better then DRK or any other shitcoin claiming "anon" features. As indeed what you say "proven anonymity"

What I mean is just don't freak out when that stupid coin going 200 to 300% in a couple of days... You'll know it's gonna be dumped afterwards...

I'm sticking with XC (having a loss right now but average loss is declining with recent dump/pumps) as it have a great dev.
Looking forward to rev2
