Hi guys! I've read some latest pages across...

Can anybody summarize, how is XC vulnerable to 51% PoS attack, such as made on VRC, etc.?
And is Dan searching a fix now in progress? Or he have found the solution already?

A fix for what?  XC wasn't attacked.  Anyway, in case your post was true and not a FUD attempt, below is the response from Dan.

In response to the attack that was carried out today on navajocoin.

While I am still reviewing the limited amount of information, based on my review of both the code and the available data, the attack was successful partly due to the 30 second block time.

XC use's a 90 second block time.

I am reviewing the additional variables & Proof of Stake code involved in this attacked for any potential issues

All POS coins are vulnerable to staking attacks when a person holds a significant portion of the network weight in coinage. Want to do your part? Get your coins off the exchanges and stake in your own wallet supporting the network.

Thank you for Dan citation, so we know this is most recent info on that subject today. Waiting for Dan's final conclusion and/or solution coming soon...

I bought some Doge today hoping the block halving would help boost the prices so i can cash out and get more xcs... but i guess there is just tooo much doge that the halving doesnt matter.. cause there is still plenty of doge to be mined.

so now im stuck with much more doge then i want :/

I might be mean here but im gonna call you a sucker.

(sorry though, but i gotta agree. Love doge community but as a currency, see above pic.)

Yes , they did what we needed as in bringing fresh blood into cryptos, sadly, too many got taken advantage of price wise and lost a ton of money on it.

What is said is so true. Not only for POS coins, but also POW coins too.... for the same thing can happen on POW coins, you need healthy hash spread all over to secure those networks also.

So I am taking down the majority of my XCs off the exchange, how long does it usually take a wallet to sync? I downloaded the wallet last night and still has not finished syncing.

Thats odd, sure it takes a good hour or so to totaly get it done, but not that long.

Have you tried shutting down the wallet and restarting it? I have noticed a few times where it seems to "hang". Also, silly question, but did you copy over the conf file they included in the wallet download?

Just my 2 cents: hold your XC coins if you don't mind owning toys like Rolls-Royce Phantom. The adequate price is at least 0.2 btc, however we should be patient, Dan does not have 100 pairs of hands. The price fluctuations don't mean anything in short terms, the project needs to mature, like any other serious software project.

If you are going to pull numbers out of your nose, justify your reasoning.

You are messing with the wrong guy, you bleep. I will kiss your nose for these words.

Low volume. I wouldnt read too much into it either way. Plus some one is trying to wall it in at this low price, look at the sell side and you will see a 50BTC wall set @ 160K

So according to the roadmap, EM is part of Rev 2.5, but Rev 2 is still in development? I'm a bit confused.
