Is the current chat based on a direct (encrypted) channel between both parties or are the messages relayed by other nodes?
eg: Will my real ip be revealed if i chat with someone?

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Yes - Now you can mint coins with a locked wallet Mine still says it's not minting as the wallet is locked:  Did you click the unlock button? the "for staking only" should be checked put in your password and hit okay the wallet is unlocked for staking only, if you attempted to send coins it asks for password Was just a bit confused as you mentioned that it would mint while the wallet is locked so thought you meant I could just leave the main lock on without doing the unlock for staking only. Understood now! Thanks. |

If Dan is really serious about chat and voice (video does not matter a lot currently) over the XC protocol, what can I say, this is a totally new, grandiose, multibillion market. And most importantly it means freedom of communications - the missing link in the IT sector (for now). Anyone selling below 0.25 BTC makes a big financial mistake, remember this statement till Christmas.
Yes I am very serious about this. The current XChat test release is 100% secure in its communication channel[message layer] and combined with a new initiative that has already started [details next week], I expect the XC community will be very excited with whats coming. Dan Wow, more goodies  I can't wait.  |

I am about to put more money into XC. atcsecure is a well respected dev, and if he said what the chat logs show, then people will take his word for it. If he didn't say that, then it would really help to know that. |

We do not need Dan to waste his time to come on here and state whether those findings from that chat log are true or not.
If he takes the time and states he did not say those things, then he did not. If he says nothing... well you know what that means.

Hoertest, generosity is a virtue, and virtues have long-term and short-term benefits. There's absolutely no need to be less than virtuous, ever.
There is little doubt in my mind that Dan's review will be beneficial to all parties, and mostly to XC.
You showed public interest in cloak some days ago. look where cloak is now and how beneficial it was to us. .... Where is cloak now? It has nothing special really, just a pump and dump related to the hype taking place into the trade... Yes with the test release your IP is not concealed Just to address this: the current release doesnt do anything for your IP, as Dan said, but next week, the TOR stick ISO with encrypted EM + wallet will be released FOR FREE to the public, which will connect to the TOR network, utilising XC's platform, and creating the best anon encrypting messaging released till now. So next week, we witness real breakthroughs. If anything I have said is incorrect, I leave it to them team to correct me. Concerning the latest "FUD" posts. Plz community, there is NO need to attack other coins and communities. If you think there is some problem or flaw with something, discuss it in private and be sure that the truth will shine, and every fed up investor/trader out there will turn to XC. Since I see a lot of new faces in here, I would like to remind every1 that in the official XC forum(as linked in my sig), you can find the official Price Speculation Topic(keep this topic clean of it plz!), and the Newb friendly Coin Control guide(which is getting updated).
