Devs have always delivered on their promises, and keep the community informed and up to date on what's going on. There's no reason to compare ourselves to what other coins are doing, when cloak has its own identity and path. The devs know they have a good product, and are focusing on getting features implemented instead of worrying about how many satoshis it's trading at. Be patient, things will fall into place.

yeah, you know who else was kicking up there feet in a storm about "no marketing"? wizkid with blackcoin. and he was a slave to the PnD groups. same kind of BS that people like Iconic Expert bring to the table.
1) Devs are furiously working in the kitchen cooking up a platform which will make us all money. We profit off of their work.
2) Whiny children are sitting at a 4 star restaurant complaining that their free meal isn't good enough, TAKE IT BACK GARCON!
3) While complaining, these children do absolutely nothing to help, and in fact only pollute the atmosphere by turning the discussion into FEAR, UNCERTAINTY, and DOUBT. Then they proceed to complain more.
4) Devs in a highly unorthodox move, leave the kitchen (and thereby delaying their work even further) to come and explain directly to YOU, the very simple reason that they are only HUMAN and are incredibly over-extended at the moment, not to mention have a looming deadline. You complain more. They point out that they've come further, faster, than pretty much any other coin in HISTORY. you scoff.
but don't worry, there's a happy ending to the tale.
5) you realise the error of your ways, go out back to the alley behind the restaurant, and fucking kill yourself

"go out back and kill yourself?" this in a nutshell is the most unfortunate aspect of these last few pages. the personal attacks on those who who are thoughtfully pointing out that open and ongoing communication are vital to maintaining a healthy interest in the coin, enough to attract and sustain new investors. to say nothing of stopping capital outflow. that you are demonizing and saying 'go fucking kill yourself' is completely unnecessary. |

Agreed. First kicked from IRC for thoughtful debate that went on attack toward me, now telling me to kill myself. This is low. People here have two different approaches to marketing, and we are discussing them. Wow, I think I'll take the weekend off for sure. Personally i think the low price and exposure is a great thing right now. less pressure on devs and less risk of whales dumping on it. Like early Bitcoin we are more worried about seeing new technology turn out well, rather than seeing how much profit we can make over night. Litecoin is another great example, great improvements to a great thing, just as much transaction volume as BTC, but yet the price hasnt gone anywhere, Granted their project wasnt as ambitious as CLOAKs right now. When its time, it will get there all on its own.  |

This price drop is good in a way. Everyone of us with patience realizes that this is the perfect opportunity to get more Cloak. Not only will I be buying more, but the Multipool is now paying out more cloak because of it!

i have a question. While the coins are staking in my wallet, I am supporting the network, however, if I encrypt my wallet I will not stake, thus won't support the network? If I can encrypt and stake is there a special way to do so?

We put an unlock button in the wallet, so if you encrypt it you can unlock it just for staking and help the network. I.E your coins will stay locked behind password but your wallet will still stake. If you are a large holder, it would be helpful (not necessary) to split across two or more wallets on different machines (if possible). |
