Check out code. add bitcoin repo. update. install some prerequisite packages. qmake. make. That's all I had to do. Literally 6 steps to compile from source. 1) git clone https://github.com/CloakCoin/CloakCoinRelaunch2) cd CloakCoinRelaunch 3) sudo apt-add-repository ppa:bitcoin/bitcoin 4) sudo apt-get update 5) sudo apt-get install qt4-qmake libqt4-dev build-essential libboost-dev libboost-system-dev libboost-filesystem-dev libboost-program-options-dev libboost-thread-dev libssl-dev libdb4.8++-dev libminiupnpc-dev libminiupnpc8 6) qmake 7) make ./cloakcoin-qt Wallet running and syncing. its working for BC coin., for loot of coins. 1) sudo apt-get install qt5-default qt5-qmake qtbase5-dev-tools qttools5-dev-tools \ build-essential libboost-dev libboost-system-dev \ libboost-filesystem-dev libboost-program-options-dev libboost-thread-dev \ libssl-dev libdb++-dev 2)sudo apt-get install git 3)git clone link This will install all the necessary files needed to build the wallet and downloads the source of the wallet straight from 4)cd blackcoin 5)qmake "USE_UPNP=-" 6)make This will build the wallet. 7)./blackcoin-qt and Blackcoin work. also RDD coin. also loot of coins. But not CLOAK You're using different instructions! Those aren't the Cloak Instructions. For one, I notice you're installing qt5 - not 4. You're setting a UPNP flag, which isn't anywhere in the CLOAK documentation (not that the UPNP flag matters). Essentially you've come here saying the Cloak wallet won't build, but you're not following the CLOAK instructions. You're just assuming all wallets are the same. I gave you the exact instructions in my last comment. They are also here. Please use them. https://github.com/CloakCoin/CloakCoinRelaunch/blob/master/doc/readme-qt.rst[/quote] / For one, I notice you're installing qt5 - not 4. // What ? TO downgrade, for state of art coin? BTC wallet work, DRK wallet work, BC wallet work, VRC wallet work ........ And you advises to DOWNGRADE for CLOAK ? QT 4 is from year 2013....

I gave you instructions on how to build the Cloak wallet and so has someone else. If you need further help, come to the IRC. You cannot repeat, "all other wallets work, why not CLOAK?" 100 times and make it change the way you're trying to compile the wallet. You're not following directions. Until you follow directions, it won't compile for you. There will be a precompiled Linux binary in the future.

Who's going to do the honors and break the 0.002 barrier? 0.0025 will quickly follow with 0.003 shortly after.

Awesome updates from the dev, unexpected surprise!
Looking a bittrex, only hurdle to breaking 200k level is that sell of 14k cloak. Going to be interesting on how the markets react after that order is filled.

There are those among us who possess the rare ability to eat 20+ BTC walls in one gulp - I would be very wary if I was the owner of that wall - thats a heck of a lot of cheap cloak up for grabs. You would have to buy at least up to 240,000 to get the equivalent on Mintpal.

We can clearly see the signs of the pre-pump here, large buy ins spaced semi regularly apart. Let's all cast our mind back to April and the explosion of Blackcoin. Who remembers that? The point: We haven't the slightest idea just how much Bitcoin is floating around out there. We are at a similar position to Blackcoin when it was around 8000 Satoshi. It went on to hit 80,000 in a matter of days. Sometimes the rule book has to go out the window and those who sell are left thinking "What the hell.....It can't possibly go up anymore....can it?" Unfortunately for them, when the REALLY big money comes back it often results in such dramatic rises in price that the coin NEVER gets back down to where you sold - in the initial stages of the pre-pump.

I can't follow instructions.
I have a working Linux wallet. I'm sorry you can't follow instructions and insist on repeating the same message. It appears to simply be a fud attempt (and a weak one at that). If you really need help, we've already posted at least 4 separate means to solve your problem. It's up to you to follow them.
