It was a FUD storm of inaccurate data that caused the panic selloff. LXC is on the rise again, not that you care, I just wanted to set the record straight. POD 5/5 so it's not a crapcoin either.

imho it doesn't matter if they accept or not.

The audit did NOT fail the anon of CLOAK, it is fully functional. It is however not trustless. Their goal is to create a fully trustless anon, that is why they audited, and working on the fix. Simple is that. Nothing changed, from the original goal. And all is in 2 months or so...

Other coins if they claim to be trustless should have it audited and go from there.

Besides all this I think people start to realize they panic sold their Cloaks way too quick.  I mean, look at the other Anon coins.... are they trustless?  No.  Are the DRK and XC devs being honest and open about that? No.

So I am happy that I still own my Cloak, because I prefer honesty and decentralization above faults that are being hidden...

I believe so. They are currently working with the auditor to implement a working fix within the week. If they had to build it from the ground up again, this would take much longer.

Sure!  That is what the devs (and we) want!  The outcome of the audit is a perfect base for a new software revision. Transparency is key here.

If it were that easy it would have been done already, to get the anon you are mixing the coins in some way, to mix the coins you are either centralising or creating nodes, which are susceptible to attack or manipulation.

The price fell so drastically because people were panicked, which can't be blamed; that's human nature.

Cloak will come out on top because of this.

I think you are spot-on.  That is why it's almost impossible to develop such functionality correct the first time.  Every anonymous coin is using Nodes. The question I think, is how to secure that Node so manipulation and sorcery   can be overcome.
