It would be nice if multiple people would post their 0.0.0.1/0.0.0.2 blockchain to show that our chains are identical.

I have a windows box which had the original version of the wallet and I removed all files except the old wallet.dat and nud.conf from %appdata%\nud directory. I then downloaded the latest wallet, let it 'sync' and I am still seeing my old coin amount in the wallet. Is this expected behavior ? Thanks man !
Launch nud-qt with -rescan, your old coin amount is no longer in your wallet. Just wallet showing stale data. { "blocks" : 606, "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 0.00024414, "errors" : "", "generate" : true, "genproclimit" : -1, "hashespersec" : 55, "networkhashps" : 1718, "pooledtx" : 0, "testnet" : false } So after doing so, it moved my old coins from balance to unconfirmed and the new blocks I have mined are showing up in the balance. Is this the expected behavior, seems OK to me.

I have already mentioned this previously, the wallet isn't stuck, it's a simple visual bug that will be fixed in due time. Just let it run as it normally would, it shouldn't affect the functionality or security at all.

Dev.......should we even mess with updating the wallet now or just wait till this is settled? I don't have huge holdings, around 6K or so but this seems like a very strange thing that is happening with this coin right now and I am wondering if it not just best to wait this out. Or am I safer to change out the wallet now?

Ufff, guys, please, don't post no more nonsense, the dev told you about all of this, do you really understand how the fuck a crypto works and what is going on? If not, shut up because you don't deserve a shit! Read the dev answer, is clearly enought what is going on and what you will receive!

Just be sure to keep your wallet.dat-file in the folder C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\NUD. Backup the file and then you will be ok. If you don't want to wait till this is settled: Go to C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\NUD delete folders: chainstate & database and run the new nud-qt

Do you mean this? { "blocks" : 936, "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 0.00270175, "errors" : "", "generate" : true, "genproclimit" : -1, "hashespersec" : 1305, "networkhashps" : 83936, "pooledtx" : 660, "testnet" : false } One thing that is not totally clear for me. Are you going to give 10% of the coins to all the miners? Or to all the addresses that hold NUD? I did send some NUD to a friend. Do I have to resend it?

In about 2 hours we went from block 936 to 998.
{ "blocks" : 936, "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 0.00270175, "errors" : "", "generate" : true, "genproclimit" : -1, "hashespersec" : 1305, "networkhashps" : 83936, "pooledtx" : 660, "testnet" : false }
2 hours later
{ "blocks" : 998, "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 0.00291627, "errors" : "", "generate" : true, "genproclimit" : -1, "hashespersec" : 1274, "networkhashps" : 91986, "pooledtx" : 660, "testnet" : false }
That's about 60 blocks in 2 hours. 2 minutes per block time.... What about the 10 minute block time?

Ever thought about how hard it will be now to convince an exchange to trust NUD, considering that alcurex will sooner or later find out that the NUD update leaves them with all their customers' NUD deposits being lost? Blockchain restarts are simply a no-go for any serious altcoin dev who cares about the coin's reputation.

I didn't give any exchange permission to add NUD, that is why I ignore all the PMs from exchanges willing to add support to NUD. Of course I am not the dictator of the network, exchanges may still add NUD without my permission, just don't be surprised when inconveniences occur. Unfortunately we are bound to have many updates within the first weeks. I don't think that it's wise to add support for NUD so early for most exchanges.

Props for following through with what you said you intended to create you just should have tested it a bit more before launch.
To people complaining about conversion rates I assume you could read and did read the first post before scrypt mining. No sympathy here.

What's the problem? The network is running perfectly fine, isn't it? It is for me.
