Good afternoon to all holders of Minerals, and also all to whom the project is interesting. With full confidence I want to tell you that our project develops and gradually gets more large-scale outlines. Communicative pauses which arose the last months were caused by big load. We try to do everything possible to move forward. Development gains steam.

After a while we plan start new Block Explorer. This task wasn't set initially and arose relatively recently. The reason for which we undertook this business consists in a dissatisfaction with the existing decisions. We want to make the product establishing new higher quality of service. The standard functionality will be expanded. Our Block Explorer will represent the hybrid combining various functions. Some of these functions are in fact essentially new solutions of visualization of information. Some screens showing the interface:

After start new the explorer block we will concentrate forces on the home website and a Betting platform. I guess that many have a desire of acceleration. It is clear. We too want everything and at once. I can advise to have patience. Our project very labor-consuming. Many things become for the first time therefore we have no opportunity to rely on others experience. The important factor which is slowing down development is pretentiousness concerning all aspects of the project. We on start regarded the characteristic of quality as of paramount importance and are compelled to submit to the chosen strategic paradigm.

I hope for your understanding. If there is a desire to help send me PM.

Hi o/

While we're working on implementing the features introduced by Stronci last week, we've decided to phase out Mineralscoin ABE and deploy Mineralscoin CCE.
CCE is the foundation of what you see in the post above Smiley

For more information about Mineralscoin CCE, please visit http://www.morningminerals.com/?p=914 or http://cce.morningminerals.com if you want to use it immediately Smiley

Well... I think it's painstakingly slow and people give up on it?
Although we try to get this back on track, we're by no means experienced or professional developers. Everything is new and almost everything has to be learned from scratch. It's still going to take a while as we are currently focusing on adding features to cce.morningminerals.com as Stronci already mentioned.
And there is only a limited amount of time we can spend on it, unfortunately. It's not like we can ignore our jobs for Mineralscoin for example.

Hi alt19

It's hard to answer this question, since we don't know how much Mineralscoin will be taking part of staking in the future.
In August, there was about 1.9M MIN being staked. I suppose this amount won't drastically increase while our coin is holding its actual status in development and interest by the public.

Based on these numbers, I think you can use the following data for now?

Still active development here??
Not in the sense of coins like Blackcoin or others with a big team of developers and such, but we're trying to keep this one alive and doing our best. Currently the coin itself is not being changed or anything, but we're adding a few things to the block explorer. It's not useless stuff, but it needs to be done before tackling the actual betting and how to implement it. I've started with courses on Python and Jinja, since I am not accustomed with them, to be able to add these required additional features.

I am trying to synchronize the wallet, but nothing comes out, writes: "0 active connection to mineralscoin network"!!! Restarted the internet, computer, did not help.
When you attempt to send a coin wallet just crashes, he works very unstable.  Angry

@altcoiner- and @devid.roriho

What version of the wallet are you using? The actual version is v1.1.1.0
You can find a list of working and stable nodes at http://cce.morningminerals.com/peers to add to Mineralscoin.conf if needed.
This is by the way the block explorer we're working on to add functionality.

When you start the wallet for the very first time, there is no wallet.dat file and the client crashes. It is normal and you can simply restart.
The wallet comes with a number of seed nodes, so it should start synchronizing within a few minutes.
If you're using an older version, the wallet will not find any nodes. It works on different ports and changes were made to the protocol version and private keys to secure the network and send alerts if required, for example when a new client will be released with important changes.

@devid.roriho: if you keep the wallet.dat to which you transferred your MIN, they won't be lost. Just make sure to have the right client and eventually add a few nodes to your config. My 24/7 staking wallet has 16 connections.

This is a screenshot from a test-wallet I just fired up:

It has already one connection right after starting up.

The actual version of the wallet can be downloaded here: http://www.morningminerals.com/?page_id=732
Synchronizing from zero can take several days, so you can accelerate it a little by using our bootstrap: http://www.morningminerals.com/?page_id=764
Another way is using a snapshot of the blockchain: http://www.morningminerals.com/?page_id=862

The difference is that bootstrap is feeding the blockchain from a local file instead of peers while the snapshot is an already indexed copy of the whole blockchain's database. This could be even faster than using the bootstrap. Just make sure to attentively read  the instruction if you decide to use these methods.

As for further development. We're still working on it. For further development on CCE: I'm taking Python courses during my free time, but having changed jobs in a sector that's totally new for me, so there's a lot of other training I've to go through. But rest reassured, it's not abandoned Smiley

I hope this information will be helpful.

so long as you have the wallet.dat file the minerals are not lost.

Is your firewall blocking the mineralscoin ports? ive done a fresh install on a PC and connected to 3 nodes within minutes.

This account was hacked & possibly sold during the period of August 1st and October 24th 2017.

I am trying to synchronize the wallet, but nothing comes out, writes: "0 active connection to mineralscoin network"!!! Restarted the internet, computer, did not help.
When you attempt to send a coin wallet just crashes, he works very unstable.  Angry
Did you manage to synchronize your wallet?

Attention

The Mineralscoin DNS seed server and morningminerals' block explorer will be shut down on the 7th of January due to server migrations:

Quote
You are receiving this email because you have an active service with us in our Dallas location.

As a follow up with our previous announcement, we have the confirmed date for this physical migration.

We are going to migrate the servers in our Dallas facility to another building on 7 January 2016 after 9 PM CST.

We will make sure to have things migrated as quickly as possible without complications. We are planning to get everything back online in 1 hour.

The new datacenter is only a few miles away and in the same city. One of our admins will be on site during the migration to keep an eye on things. So we expect things will go smoothly.

Please note that there won't be an IP change. You'll just notice a downtime while we take the servers down and move them physically to the new racks in the new datacenter.

With this migration, we are expecting to grow faster as a result of bigger footprint and better connectivity with private peering with providers such as Cloudflare, Akamai, Google, AWS, Facebook, Netflix, etc.

Please prepare your applications for this downtime and make sure to backup your important data before the migration just in case.

If you have any questions regarding this migration, please open a ticket in your client area and please do not reply this email as this inbox is not maintained.

Considering the different time zones, it is very likely that I will shutdown the servers around 3 PM CST and restart them the next day. It will be quite late at night for me and I get up at 5AM to go to work. The network shouldn't be affected by the super node disconnecting for a while. I'll re-establish the services as soon as possible.

Thank you for understanding.

I'm currently testing various possibilities to reduce that system load of our wallet.

The amount of POS blocks with tiny amount fills up the majority of the block chain.
The latest iteration of and "accelerated" testnet is working at this moment. 500 POW blocks, POS starts at block 450, nStakeMinAge of 1 day instead of a few hours. nModifierInterval every 2 hours instead of every 12 hours and by block 700, it will switch to 60 seconds block time.

Observation and discussion learned that these 30 seconds we had are not a law that blocks abide by, but merely a guideline. The blocks are produced much faster than 30 seconds, depending on the amount of clients staking and how many coins are stake-ready. Therefore, I look for a way to influence this.

It's just an experiment I'm going to gauge its effect. There is also the issue of unconfirmed POS transactions (rejected by network) that poses a problem. It inflates the wallet.dat with garbage that should be purged. This is also something to look into in the future.

With Cryptsy going down and Coinse not generating deposit addresses (at least for me), it means we have no trading platform anymore.
Who's willing to open a market for Mineralscoin? Smiley

We're not dead yet, it just takes lots of time with two when you've full time jobs and families etc.
