Instead of crying 24/7 you should go over to StartJOIN, create a cool project that makes a difference. This helps to develop potential that is already there and encourages people to pledge. And I'm just sittin' here waiting for 100k sats lulz

Am I missing something? are we in that good of a position we can live off trexs?

Not really He's talking about a StartCOIN project based on Chris Ellis - Bitcoin Fullnode. If there is interest I could create a similar project on StartJOIN? How to create your own Startcoin Fullnode (step by step beginners guide)

Bitcoin accessible full-nodes = over 5,000 Startcoin accessible full-nodes = less than 25 and on many occassions less than 10Get my drift? Where do you get your numbers? At check at http://www.blocktree.io/e/START gives 38 nodes, which I suppose is miners since my own full node (non miner) does not show up there. Since the market cap of startcoin is about 1/5000 of bitcoin the numbers does add up, even a bit better for startcoin. Link you provided and data there are missleading because that is one of nodes that accepts incoming connections. Out of 38 other nodes connected to it maybe a few can accept such connections as well. Now imagine if only 1 node can accept incoming connections, it would completely control that network because all other nodes can not connect anywhere else but to that node. The same deal as with 1 server and many clients. Then imagine how easily could one paralyze Startcoin network even now, DDoS attacks are cheap and all it takes is to DDoS those few nodes that are accepting incoming connections. As an extra, for not much more money, attacker could create thousands of fake nodes (low resource consumption but acts as a normal full-node) that are accepting incoming connections and then advertise IP addresses of just those nodes. Because no legit node could connect to legit DDoSed nodes they would instead use up all their connection slots (maximum 8 outgoing connections) connecting to attacker nodes then after a while attacker can just stop DDoS and laugh. Legit users would need to restart wallets multiple times and somehow flush malicious IP addresses from their peers.dat file which is all possible but you should think about all nasty consequences of stuff written above if attacker persists with attack for more than a day. And from the technical standpoint it can actualy go much worse. But you just keep on depositing and keeping START only at non-accessible wallets, exchanges and StartJoin, it is all fine.
