I just want these guys to pull through for startcoin and not just be promises that never happen.

While you are waiting for Ducky and John to get back to you, you should do your own homework. The answers to your questions are easy enough to find. Milestones have been reached and Startcoin progress is ongoing. I understand new developers have been brought onboard for specific projects and to further accelerate Startcoin's growth in the marketplace. You are not a newbie, so you should have known the answers to your questions already.

Don't be expecting Ducky and John to give you cast iron guarantees. As much as I respect the opinions of other reliable contributors, with investing the bottom line is do your own research. I have.

Before you try to act all high and mighty maybe you should do some research and you will see that multiple times we have been told things that have yet to happen....

I dont care about a post about new devs until it happens.

I dont care about a $20 million dollar fund until it happens.

I think it was john who posted a few months back giving an ETA for start to be added to a Chinese exchange...Where is it?

Next time, YOU do your research before you post.....I know the answers to my own questions, I want the community, MAX and KARL to see these posts and get things done..

Ive been around coins that have promised a lot so until I see things happen it means nothing.

Like I said before this is not a hate post as I own and believe in this coin BUT I want action not talk.

I'm sorry snakey, but I don't know anything more about the startfund. None of us are happy with the current state of affairs, especially the price of the coin, but there is nothing much else to do at the moment than to wait and see. Support some projects on Startjoin and help build the community.

as a start investor the github inactivity is a bit worrying (no code new code for over a year).
since startcoin is very special in regards to the people behind it I dont think its a dealbreaker but still..no actual tech development during this time?

the site startjoin.com also needs to be updated more frequently. an example of this is the slideshow pictures, the pic with the kid with wings must be like 100 years old by now instead of 10.

i also wonder since the idea behind the project is to have this solid community through tech, but startjoin.com doesnt have a regular forum feature? this baffles me. if they want people to get together, like hundreds and hundreds, they need a single place where they can gather and talk about stuff (not only about start), get to know each other etc. ie the point of a forum with subforums. the idea of this should have been pushed HARD from the very beginning...a forum integrated deeply into everything else, so you use the same account as on startcoin to both receive money and post/read topics & get to know new friends.

if this new forum we have is going to be official/the main place to discuss start they should AT LEAST link to it from the main website...otherwise its just a fan forum afaik. dont get me wrong the people/person who set up this forum did a perfect job but why didnt the start devs set up one from day 1.

Does the Github account really need more coding adding to it?
My wallet works well and is a lot faster than other wallets to sync. I do expect more coding will be added shortly when the new specialist coders add even more functionality to Startcoin. I should imagine that progress will be announced soon in some groundbreaking areas - just as Max Keiser and Karl Gray have promised. These things take time and the new coders have only just been brought on board.

Regarding the price: the price goes up and down Surprise! Surprise! Startcoin is traded on exchanges where speculation is rife. Lots of coins have been affected by the recent rise in Bitcoin. A few days ago it hit the $270s. It is only natural that people sell the coins they hold to get onto the Bitcoin bandwagon. However, the Bitcoin rise has faltered and at the time of writing it is now at $263.03. If it stagnates at that price, or even starts to fall, I think we can expect a massive Startcoin buy-back - especially at the price it currently is. While I have been writing this the Startcoin price has risen from the 0.00009,000s BTC to the 0.00011,000s BTC - a rise of 7.21%.

I've seen this word used before by........other "special" members to say the least.

If anything I think START we're safe to say it'd see waves more than more shitcoins so I'd tend to agree with you.  But this is quite the dropoff in price this time around though....even with someone/people propping the price up...is it safe to say it'll rebound that much??  Better hope the volume comes back, or is it going to be another FOMO when the bulls start running?  These days it's looking more like we're lucky to even get the price back to where "it used to be" for most of us (sadly).  Not sure if that's just your opinion or you're trying to hint something here.

All these startcoins being donated to people on startjoin and banktothefuture yet no price rise for startcoin.....

In fact I feel "startcoin" does not get enough attention, people focus more on "startjoin" and bnktothefuture.....

I don't think anyone is running the price down, with that 600k dumped the other day that was end of attempts to manipulate price.. the price now reflects what is happening in startcoin. Also the SBMS has to sell a bunch of coins each day to pay mining costs.. with halving 2 weeks away you would expect to see accumulation atm but it's not happening...

The halving is going to kill the SMBS

Well said! I think you've made the knockers squirm. The trolls are easy to recognise. They quickly smother up good news with a flurry of garbage and negativity. They'll try to smother up your post as well as it gets right to core of what has been happening here. I think the worst of them are from a rival coin who are intimidated by the infrastructure and potential that Startcoin has. I like to quote a post that appeared in the Litecoin thread as long ago as 2011 in relation to trolls:
