So the 10k delegate idea failed - only 6 delegates. Sad
Will 1k idea bring 60 delegates? Huh
Oh, still not enough Cry

This kind of comment is exactly what I was talking about in my criticism.... You just prove my point every time you post.

The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

@Wulf and Brian,

There are actually 2 things in development. The initial lite wallet will be a version of the current client that doesn't require the blockchain to be downloaded and will allow you to use the web wallet on your own server.

The new UX/UI will contain a TON of features that aren't currently introduced in Crypti that we will be discussing very soon. We will be doing an interim release with the new "lite wallet" and the changes we voted on in our most recent meeting (this will happen very soon) and then our next major release on the roadmap / release schedule, 0.2.1. will introduce many of the features of the new UX/UI. Once the interim release is complete and we start discussing the changes for our next major release, we will more than likely release a preview of the new design at that point.

Keep in mind this will be earlier than you probably think. We aren't talking 2 months for our next release, we are talking weeks.

If you are looking for the faucet, that was taken down over a month ago when it was being click-slammed by one person with numerous wallets
Payout should be lowered to 5, if not less.
Remember CAPTcoin? They had 3-4 captures on the page. All those capts are below zero now, but the idea of multiple captures combined with lowered payout could work well here.

The link to 'Free XCR' on http://crypti.me/ returns error 502 Bad Gateway.
Someone gamed the faucet earlier. We will reactivate it at some point, but we will dramatically lower the payout rate.

To be honest...  I thought you would have enough votes by now...  how many votes are needed anyway?

19.2 million votes needed to be in the 101 Club right now.

There are 45 million votes out there that are not owned by exchanges or the foundation.  Bter has 22 million votes, but does not seem to have used them.

Is there any way for Lin to give you emails addresses of the Bter accounts that still own Crypti?  Looks like that is the only way left to alert folks to keep draining Crypti from Bter, since in the past week withdrawals there have stalled.   The Bter hot wallet has had less than 10K withdrawals in the past week.  Getting Bter to zero is obviously still a priority, even after the "victory" of getting them low enough to allow 0.2.0 launch.

By the way, is it public knowledge who "owns" the 8.4M, 5.4M and 4.9M accounts just below the official 11.3M Foundation account?  No big deal if they want to keep that quiet...

Only 0.5M for sale at Polo.  When will Cryptsy get their 0.2.0 wallet online and allow withdrawals again?

Now I get it...  you just have to look at the approval of delegate 101...  duh   Embarrassed

I take it back then...  that's a healthy amount of votes.

For today, but we hope this changes int he future.  We used all the votes that the foundation, and all the devs combined to give 31 million votes to the genesis delegates, so we could get above the Bter wallet.

We have shifted votes to the new delegates that were considered trustworthy.  As soon as the Bter wallet drops lower, we wont need so many votes to maintain membership in the 101 Club.

We thought the 4.9 million was yours Mal.

The 101 Club account numbers, and name are shown on the delegate page.  Cross matching them and checking trans history may reveal the ownership.

Nope to both.

The 4.9M account is not me.

71 of the 101 Club have accounts that are not listed in the 0.2.0 genesis block; they were funded by 0.1.9 transfers that are no longer a part of the public record.  The other 30 are listed in the 0.2.0 genesis block.  No way to track ownership of any delegate accounts back to "larger" accounts.

This is why I keep saying we need to publish the entire 0.2.0 genesis block and the 0.1.9 delegate list balances when they forged 0.2.0 Block 1 and publically verify this all totals to exactly 100M Crypti.  There are no transaction records left to document anything that happened before the switch to 0.2.0.

I agree that the old db should be available.  I still have a copy of it on my computer.  Is there a program that will open a .db file?

Check your Recycle Bin.  You may have a copy there

Recommend you officially archive it in a sticky post on the new site.

Microsoft Access will open a .db file, as will SQLite in Linux.  You could also open it and resave it as a CSV file which would allow its use in Excel or other spreadsheets.

sebastian says that if you had a copy of 0.1.9g, you should have the old db file on your computer, perhaps even in recycle bin, or a backup device

I'll check but I still think the official 0.9.1 archival copy should be posted by a Foundation member on the new site.

On mobile so I will be short, but I think the Phantom accounts are due to the foundation creating wallet addresses prior to 0.2.0 that had no transactions and providing the public key and account t to boris to have them registered as delegates in the Genesis block. This was necessary to ensure 101 delegates at launch but those account had either no funds prior to genesis or had 100 to register second password. Mine I transferred a couple hundred each which is why they had balances going into genesis. Hope that makes sense...
