It was never supposed to. This whole concept of making big bucks is only an artifact of ASICS and is trending towards zero from the massive gains made by those with Avalon G1's and the lucky few who got Avalon B2's in Bitsyncom's "test" shipment. In 2012 I had an 8GH/s GPU farm which pulled ~5.5kW. This farm made me ~5BTC/day at its peak which was equivalent to $30 a day after power was paid for. We're almost back there (thankfully). Your right, huge profit was never the intention of Bitcoin mining - and rightfully so. But unfortunately many people don't quite get that. Personally I love the concept of Bitcoin and it suits my anarchistic views on how the World should function, so by mining it I am assisting the Blockchain and gaining a little Bitcoin in the process  Ive always seen bitcoin as ushering in a world wide financial authority rather than being a form of financial anarchy. You misinterpret my meaning of Financial Anarchy. A decentralized Financial system is technically Financial Anarchy, Anarchy is based on the notion of mutual agreement through societies rather than government bodies running societies. What most people believe to be Anarchy is actually Archism. But this is entirely the wrong thread and forum for a discussion on Anarchy or Archism , so i'll shut up |

well i know its 2nd batch, and they will know, i suppose, checking order dates, or just the price  1st batch was 0.75, 2nd 0.74 and 3rd its 0.725 |

Both my previous orders for S1's took 2-3 days. Once the order is shipped you will be able to track it with the UPS tracking number. I would expect the batch#1 to start shipping this Thursday |

I have 8 S1s that have paid themselves off and are still making a profit based on BTC price & electricity dost. Why should I be in a hurry to sell? It's possible that buying a bulk 16 S3 blade cards and using existing controllers may be the most cost effective way to go. Sometimes the people who wait are better off. The VAT issue is not a concern for me, but for those who must pay it the waiting game may be the most cost effective better option. |

I think the shipments will work like this:

I've seen 12 posts asking about shipping.
Bitmain said around July 10th to start shipping and that's a Thursday. Repeatedly asking when it is going to ship when that information was supplied already is just cramming the thread up.
I know margins are tight, the tightest ever. You guys are now living through a pre-order. If you never ordered a pre-order, you'll drive yourself crazy dwelling on it everyday. When I ordered my KNC Jupiter, I had to wait 2 months for it to show up. The luckiest people in bitcoin were the ones that ordered those first Avalons. I think they made like 5BTC/day for a while. These things we'll never see again. Poo Poo Poo on that.
