Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

I'll update the pool payout system, I build them all from scratch so can modify in any way you would like, just tell me your full recommendation and I'll turn this into corresponding code  Wink If you're interested in running a pool contact me and I can help you get set up, though I would wait until I have the whole system finished such as the User Interface integrated to the Pool Engine. I designed the software to be very simple to setup, so it requires you to only run a pool daemon.

PoS almost done, then from there I'm going to work out some transaction features such as reversible, two way, no fees [100% free].
When I release 1.0.3 it is going to have a block version 4 time lock activation which means PoS blocks will not be accepted as part of the main chain until after this time lock has passed.

Thank You,
Viz.

Hello,
Pool payout system need to have payout commande or web ui with payout commande.
We also need power information and power by users. A good feature can be auto diff setting, for exemple my pool have some time 4000+ connections and we have to increase the min diff but we need to do that with inteligente diff modulation.

We also need a new pool and other active pool, I'll help http://csd-cpu.nonce-pool.com to have more workers and found to found blocks.

We also need GPU pool, but like we can see cuda miner take a lot of time :/

For me the main focus is new pool interface with more smoth software and GPU pool. and next we can realy rebanding to Nexus.

I'm right ?

Best regards

Okay, so I'll take out real time deposits and put it on script, less secure, has pool holding your coins, but if that's what everyone wants we'll do it classic style, these payouts aren't ran with a script, they are included as new outputs in the coinbase transaction, this is partial to why there is a priority system for them as given blocks are limited in their value, especially if the pool finds some blocks that are fractional rewards from fluctuation in the CPU mining power.

Thank You,
Viz.

I think actual system is good, but for little miner it's take to much time to see winning niro in her wallet....

Cest Ballot hit the nail on the head with his ideas for cpu pool improvements.

With a caveat: since your reply made me aware of the trade off between security and convenience, because the pool would have to hold coins for a payout button, I would actually vote for continuing the existing payout system.  I like using the Dev pool and its payout parameters.  Cestballot has changed the payout algorithm to suit the needs of his pool, which is great, since it meets the needs of his many users.  I imagine it would be a bit more work for you when you update the pool code, but perhaps you could include the option to leave the payout system as it is now....as secure as the block chain.

Hello,

thanks for this point of view.

Nexus niro is complitly open to all modification you need to improve security and to be user friendly.

Viz dev all this amazing coin.

I hope we will have the same security level with better user friendly interaction.

hello,

you are using little cpu, with my little I5 I have 500pps. Now cpu diff is 6.2 to 6.4+. 92.222.190.111 have 3800+ connections, to increase stability and services we increase min diff at 4.1. with your little cpu you will win little rewards. :/

If you need you niro now to buy a pizza, send me your niro address by private message Smiley

I will give 10k niro to create a niro reserve in my pool to create payout botton, like this we can have the same secure creation we have with pool but with more user friendly options.
I you will chose instante payout, you will wait to have confirmed niro in pool wallet.

I will ask Viz about that.

Best regards

Thread is managed by me, with others helping in repeated support questioning. Cestballot has done a very good job at administrating Cest Pool and providing support in English which is not his native language.

Partial to pool development would be the pool payout options:
Manual - Stored in the pool server, withdrawn by the user clicking "withdraw" button in UI
Auto   - Sent out as an extra output in coinbase tx, in which coins show up in wallet as "mined" just as they would from solo mining. Keeps coins produced stored in the miner's local wallet, reducing reliance on pool for coin storage.

I'm also working on finishing the Variable PoS for the final block production channel for Nexus. This will have reward structure based on a linear equation moving from 1% after min stake age to 3% for 1 year's holdings. This will help give users more incentive to profit in larger degrees by compounding their interest comparative to the time they hold up to maximum threshold.

After this the next release will be the reversable transactions feature and free transaction algorithm which I have created a priority equation that will continue the security of transaction fees, but allow all Nexus Transactions to be sent with no fees.

Thank You,
Viz.

Hello and again it does not get stuck, it is compounding your balance until you have higher priority. There is currently no manual payout option, this will be included in future pool releases.

Patience is a virtue. If everything continues smoothly we will be looking at middle of May for the Block Version 4 activation in 1.0.3 release.

Hello,

Now it's time for vote about nexus logo Smiley could we create a web interface for that in coinshieldtalk ?

1.0.3 with POS is realy important for Nexus economy, but we also need a new CPU ( my server is just good for 4000 users not more or min diff will increase to the sky ) and GPU pool with ATI and Nvidia miner. I hope Bitslapper is ok.

We are Nexus
