Viz , my wallet says that I have not coins to stake , obviously because it's encrypted. But there isn't an option to unlock it for staking...

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

You guys would be better off mining x11 on nicehash and buying Niro and you'll get a lot more than mining it straight up. Just a little advice.
Bad advice
X11 too hot :<

Well then get the older lesser optimized versions, and it'll run cooler, but give you slightly lesser hash/btc in the end.

Or you could downclock the card if it's OC'ed and run the latest version.

Either way, you'll get way more like that than mining Niro directly. You think x11 is too hot? Trying running Quark and you'll change your mind.

To unlock wallet for minting only:

walletpassphrase <password> <timeout> <mintonly>

So one would type in the RPC console walletpassphrase password 120 true to unlock wallet for 2 minutes mint only. Timeout is in seconds of course Smiley

Skunk, Ubuntu binaries are up. Had a couple things I had to tweak to get it running right on Ubuntu but good now. You can see them on the Downloads page: http://nexusniro.com/?tab=Download

Thank You,
Viz.

P.S. Also going to clean up the GUI a bit so keep posted for new releases, spent most of my time under the hood so GUI could use some love  Wink

Yes along with some updates to the Qt graphics. Didn't really put much time into the GUI for 2.0, just concentrated on the engine. But expect some updates with Nexus 2.1 including a button to unlock for stake and better meters for Stake / Coin weights, trust keys, so forth.

Thank You,
Viz.

As much as I regret saying this, but the only thing that moves a coin are pumpers. Exactly what this coin is trying to avoid Smiley

Make it open source and someone else can fork a new coin out of it and make something useful  Cool

Lol.  There is way more vision behind this than you probably know.   If by "make something useful" you mean a pump then you likely aren't in crypto for the societal benefits.  Price isn't everything.  Traders gonna trade and holders gonna hold.  We don't need a pump.  However there does need to be demand.  That will come with the Nexus Economy.  The true value of Nexus will show in time.  Emphasis on the word time.

I believe in what Viz said that with recyclers, we can have a steady and stable price, rather than touching low and high extremes, which isn't good for any asset.
