Thanks a lot Jdebunt, another great article.

On a side note, an interview with myself will be published at some point in the next 24 hours with some interesting questions being answered regarding the future plans for BritCoin.

Stay tuned. Smiley

You know it makes sense to get Harry Enfield's "Loads a Money" character to do a short video.  You should contact his talent agency, they might even accept BritCoin.  Smiley  http://www.curtisbrown.co.uk/harry-enfield/

I think that it's a bit optimistic to think Harry Enfield would do that.  Also would it in any way be relevant now?  Nobody would even know who he is and the whole point about it was that it was a critique of 1980s culture and new money (and not in a good way).  It would be more useful to find someone who is representative of modern British culture.

Haha, I think it's a good idea..  Well as a laugh anyway Smiley  I wonder how much he would charge for a 5 second video just saying "Buy BritCoins, make loadsamoney!!" lol

I'm having troubles thinking of someone who would make a good celeb spokesperson for BritCoin, any ideas?

Great suggestion.  I will add it to the list of Twitter accounts we should target, which I will put in my signature. Smiley

Ok, I've updated my signature which now includes a list of tech media outlets and some other Twitter accounts of interest to BritCoin.

Please start tweeting them and with some luck, we'll get some real public awareness traction in the form of a tweet or article, which will help BritCoin immensely.

Thanks guys.

Thanks.  We are looking in to different multipools, if anyone out there knows of one which doesn't want us to pay silly amounts to use, please get in touch.

Off-topic but this tweet is so funny I had to share it.  Also it is kind of football/UK centric.  A genuine LOL.

Have you tried checking with Bittrex?  Put a support query in.  It should be in the block explorer though unless you typed the address wrong or sent it to the address for another coin (if so it can still sometimes be recovered) - speak to Bittrex either way they are always very helpful.

My Bittrex BRIT address also doesn't show on the block explorer (why is that??).  But I have coins on there, and it is working fine.  So don't worry too much about that aspect.  You should check with Bittrex support.  Sometimes coin deposits and withdrawals can get "stuck" for minor reasons.

Which britcoin folder did you delete?  Did you also delete your Britcoin data in your %appdata% folder??  That is where your wallet.dat file actually is. If you still have that, then that is the main thing.

Anyway I've sent you one BritCoin (actually 0.98, once fee is removed! don't get too excited..) as a random test, to the address you quoted. From my Bittrex wallet to yours.
txid: 2b448b14186896e8eab3c5f3607aee36c27ef0a38537203863450e28248e83a8

That txid also doesn't seem to show on the explorer. Nor does the Brit address on the block explorer page for donations.  Does the explorer actually work??
