The people that got rich from BTC had to hold onto it for 4 years when it was virtually worthless and couldn't be traded. Now these noobs come on and expect that they can get rich from a coin after holding it for 2 days. There should be some way of preventing these morons from buying anything (to protect them from themselves). If some genius could devise a means of doing it cryptocurrencies would advance a lot faster. The funniest thing is they keep complaining about the price and then selling at ever cheaper prices on a race down to zero. Seriously who pointed a gun at your head to sell? LMFAO.

the problem right now is there is still too much market manipulation. Sell orders of 30 BRIT for way less then the current price, people dont check orders, they see a number and enter less. Until the exchanges can remove these orders it cant be helped

Well it can be helped. People have to take responsibility for their own actions. I never just blindly enter a number - if people do then they deserve to lose their money.

As Soul_Eater mentioned, it brought out a great buying opportunity. I jumped on it also and bought a bunch more.
When people see a lower price, too many of them instantly panic sell, I would rather buy more and lower my average cost.
But seriously, with a roadmap due out tonight, bad time to sell in my opinion.

I have sent 1000 Britcoin to my bittrex account BHFed99KoQXToMLtHaoAj61RtdomuZZsvP but nothing has arrived in 12 hours. The explorer is saying my address is not on the network. I should not of deleted the britcoin folder . My Bittrex BRIT address also doesn't show on the block explorer (why is that??). But I have coins on there, and it is working fine. So don't worry too much about that aspect. You should check with Bittrex support. Sometimes coin deposits and withdrawals can get "stuck" for minor reasons. Which britcoin folder did you delete? Did you also delete your Britcoin data in your %appdata% folder?? That is where your wallet.dat file actually is. If you still have that, then that is the main thing. Anyway I've sent you one BritCoin (actually 0.98, once fee is removed! don't get too excited..) as a random test, to the address you quoted. From my Bittrex wallet to yours. txid: 2b448b14186896e8eab3c5f3607aee36c27ef0a38537203863450e28248e83a8 That txid also doesn't seem to show on the explorer. Nor does the Brit address on the block explorer page for donations. Does the explorer actually work?? Thanks!, I have receive that coin but not mine that i sent . I deleted the britcoin folder including wallet, I waited for the 1k to be confirmed then i sent it and deleted the whole thing. The chain had not even fully downloaded but i got a sign saying 1k sent and also my balance went down to 0.02.

Would be a good idea to contact coindesk too, they are based in London.
Put together a press release that you can email to all of these different publications.

Thanks for the fix mate. Didn't notice it was down to be honest! It was not down - just latest blocks were not shown. It can be easy detected by looking at "Time" column on main page.

Its good. But we should be focusing on creating a multipool as the first priority.

Thanks for the feedback.. We will be working on implementing a multipool within the next few days, so we hope. A bounty has been placed for this, as mention in the white-paper.. We have also spoken to a few people who say they can help. We know it's a big priority and we are working on it. Its good. But we should be focusing on creating a multipool as the first priority.

Thanks! Now let's put the plan into action and bring BritCoin to the public consciousness. Looks very promising!
