@fairlaysupport: thanks for 2FA update

A question: when will the speed of grading bets be improved? example like the others regular exchanges do it immediately upon completion of a match. Currently sometimes it can take a while.

Also, unrelated but do you feel that more horse racing markets will be added in the future that also include US and AUS tracks?

Thanks

@Sports888

We are a Prediction Market, so we created a few markets about the release of features that were requested.

If something is missing, please create a market yourself..

Pls. add, "When will Fairlay allow users to filter for primary lines only?"

It's still incredibly inefficient to find the main line for a given game (all the alternate lines show up in eevry search).

E.g., if you search for "Pelicans", you have to wade through pages of lines and then take a guess as which one might be full game, 1st Q, 1st Half, team total, etc.

I love Fairlay, but I agree with this concern. It is the single greatest drawback at this time.

The other one is that the "Against" lines are displayed as "-" if they are "+" and + if they are "-" ! They only change to the correct "+" or "-" when you select them. Why can't that be fixed? I've had friends say they don't use Fairlay because of the layout and this confusing "-" and "+" thing on the "Against" listing.

The best layouts among Sportsbooks may be BetOnline, YouWager and CaribSports. You can see almost everything at one glance. The Sports are listed down the left hand side and then there are tabs for First Half, etc.

And with many Books, they are written in a code or language that doesn't require a wait and page refresh every time a new selection is made. Sometimes it takes quite a long time for Fairlay to spin and spin and finally display a new page.

thank you @both for the very valuable input.  We will definitely take it into consideration.  We are working on a make over of the whole site: new design, auto refresh, troll box  and more.

Lots of possibilities, but one design I would check out is Nitrogen's.  They use tabs separate 1st half/2nd half, etc.:

And I agree wholeheartedly with Barnstorm.  Assuming your target market is the US, you really need to make it so the user is allowed to back each team, rather than betting "Yes" or "No" on just one of the teams.  It will make the odds much more manageable for the typical US user, and I believe it would increase your volume.

@fairlaysupport: one suggestion that I think will be very advantageous is to encourage your market makers to offer live "Lay bets" against the standard 3 moneyline selections in soccer as well as half time lay bets against these 3 selections. You currently have this available pregame but not live.

If you are able to pull this off I can honestly see your volume sky rocket - because right now you can only do this on direct exchanges.

*Also for a horse Racing idea - add the "place" & "show" categories on each race that is offered with the ability to back/lay each selection.

This would be extra work for your market makers but I can tell you for sure that this along with the soccer idea will really ramp up volume.

Happy Holidays

@erol   We are working on a better design and layout to display markets and search results. We will take your idea into consideration. Not sure what you want to know about our market makers? The API is the same for everyone.  Our first major market maker for sports we signed up promised us to offer at least the same odds like pinnacle.

@Sports888  We are confident to sign up more market makers in 2017, especially for live sports.
To-place markets is on our Agenda, but as the volume on horse racings is not that high, it's not our priority right now.

A problem with our hosting provider. We do not know any details yet.  It might take another day to fix it.

Good to hear that it is just that and not a Bitcoin heist. With the price of BTC now over $1,000 USD, I worry that some Bitcoin Books and other sites might be subject to hackers and thieves.

Please keep us updated.  I would get new Host Provider. It should never take this long.

Very suspicious. "It's our hosting provider but we have no idea what's going on." What kind of a hosting provider is that? I hope you took care of daily backups.

Hello, Do you know which hosting provider is?

Looks like they use nameservers on Kasserver (Germany) with the site itself hosted by OVH (France). The OVH's status page does display some ongoing issues: http://status.ovh.com - Fairlay could be on one of those faulty racks. We should be hearing this from Fairlay themselves, not me.
