There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

that sucks , I've tried contacting them on twitter but it seems they never check twitter and all the tweets about the big wins are made with a bot guess I can't do anything except waiting for trollbox to get fixed or they somehow realize that the match was cancelled and refund the bet

also any idea how to contact fairlay if the support chat isn't working ? I have a big order on a tennis match and it should be a void since the match was cancelled but Fairlay is still having it pending so I need a way to reach them in order to grade it
You could try reaching out through their support's email. This was in their FAQs. I had a voided bet once on fairlay and it was pending for about few hours before it got graded. How to contact Fairlay and how do I reach customer support? - Use ognjen@fairlay.com to contact our head of support directly. - VIPs may contact vip@fairlay.com support free of charge at any time and receive support directly from the Fairlay management. All VIPs have been contacted and were addressed as VIP. In case of an emergency or if you need an immediate response, please send at least 5mBTC to the Bitcoin address 17zWbgemRwx4RyrXxSBZEEnvRJLt3zt1ft and direct your request to vip@fairlay.com. There is no need for a high fee, unconfirmed transactions work as well. If none will answer you within 60 minutes, we will send the bitcoins back to the sender address.

thanks but someone told me that the email doesn't work except the VIP email where you have to send them 5 mbtc but will try the normal one now I had a voided bet once on fairlay and it was pending for about few hours before it got graded.
it's been 30 hours for now but the match was supposed to be played tomorrow so probably they haven't checked that it was cancelled

The trollbox is what you are looking for. Sportsbookreview is probably the forum with the highest post activity around Fairlay.

Sorry still trying to learn how to use fairlay and have some really noob questions. I think I still have the mindset of using a sportsbook. Some of the stuff just does not make sense to me, for example this marketimageQuestion 1 - So looks like the odds for TNC to be reach grand final is 8.3 which make sense. but the odds against TNC to reach final is 19.867?(thats just too good to be true) Question 2 - I see there is ODDS and OFFERED ODDS, is ODDS the actual odds for the bet?(that would make sense but if that is the case what is OFFERE ODDS for?) Question 3 - I assume liability is the max amount you can bet? Question 4 - What is the different between taker, market/taker, market maker? My understanding is taker basically just take the available orders. Market/taker would take the available orders and create additional order if it can fulfill the volume you want. Market maker would create order for both side and basically try to profit from the margin. Sorry if any of the these questions is dumb.

Question 1 - So looks like the odds for TNC to be reach grand final is 8.3 which make sense. but the odds against TNC to reach final is 19.867?(thats just too good to be true)
odds to reach the final is 8.3 correct , but odds against it is 1.053 ( you will find out once you click the red button then the odds will appear in the betting box ) this is called laying , in other words you are taking the opposite bet for someone who wants to get paid 19.867 in case they reach the final you don't really need to fully understand since as I said you will see the real odds in the betting box once you click the red buttong Question 2 - I see there is ODDS and OFFERED ODDS, is ODDS the actual odds for the bet?(that would make sense but if that is the case what is OFFERE ODDS for?)
Odds is the real odds you will be getting , same as I explained before when you lay that specific bet odds is 1.053 ( real odds ) and prefered odds is 19.867 ( you can assume it as the odds for the other guys who is opposing your bet ) Question 3 - I assume liability is the max amount you can bet?
yep when you lay the bet , somehow it doesn't always work for me though so in my experience it's not perfect estimation it's usually showing when you double click on the selection Question 4 - What is the different between taker, market/taker, market maker? My understanding is taker basically just take the available orders. Market/taker would take the available orders and create additional order if it can fulfill the volume you want. Market maker would create order for both side and basically try to profit from the margin.
this section makes you able to put the odds that you want , for example you don't like X8.3 for that team to reach the final and you want X10.00 instead you simply use that section and create an order , this will let others know that you want X10.00 instead and if someone want to take the opposite of your bet then he will match it this way you get better odds , but as I stated another player needs to take the other side of the bet so most of the times it will just vanish

Thank you for answering SyGambler! That does make a lot of sense! I also heard that for fairlay, once you place your bet there is a 60 sec time frame for the other side to choose whether he wants to accept the bet or not? Is that true?

Is that true? that never happened with me actually and it shouldn't happen since this is not how exchanges work the site shouldn't be asking the order makers since these makers already chose the price of their orders and they are just waiting for someone to match them may I know where you got that info from ?

No, but they do have about what appears to be ~500 ms to decide. Also, sometimes the MMs will play games and not fill your whole order even though the market doesn't move and no else got filled ahead of you. I.e., Fairlay does not force its MMs to accept a full order or to do so instantaneously, even is they are displaying sufficient size.

I have always found this website intriguing and very different but never really understood how it worked and GUI is basically an elementary school level thing.
It is really for experts like it claims because no newbie would come here and start gambling right away it is impossible, I know there are already expert people who then move to here but with this GUI that is very difficult to navigate and find what you want plus the concept being hard to understand it would be really hard to acquire new people all the time, it would still get some people because of unique levels website has but it would never have thousands of people all rushing to this website, it is impossible because there are not enough people that really understands the system well enough to come together here. Maybe try to make it more noob friendly as well? At least the GUI.

Ya I agree is definitely a different experience than betting on sportsbook. Personally I dont mind the learning curve, I am just tired of getting account locked and limit by sportsbook once they find out you are a winning player. (In US so I cant use pinnacle)

it's not designed for newbies , exchanges in general are mainly focused on experienced gamblers or at least gamblers who take betting more seriously but at the end it's not that hard to learn it , you can learn all what you need to learn within 2 or 3 days of using it but in general fairlay is more complicated than other exchanges , betfair is much easier to use since they list all of the bets for a certain event under one tab unlike fairlay where the search option shows you all the markets for one event

I also find it much easier to find the market I want with API than using UI web, since you can define a lot of filters for your search. If you are familiar with programming, it is actually pretty easy to find what you want. I am starting to like the platform more and more (Still trying to figure out how to act as a market maker.. does anyone know if fairlay has decent volume compare to other crypto prediction/betting exchange?)
