I think we should set up a process for transfering cognitive-PT shares on ltc- global to full privilage shares on btc-tc. i asked burnside about it and was told to ask the security issuer. There should be a way to convert PT shares to direct shares.

I'll make that option available soon Smiley

Cog.F2 is listed now. When do you plan to release the shares?
At current main share price, investing in the fund is not very attractive though...
It will get better when the ActM madness is over.

Ridiculously disappointed with BFL is huge understatement.  Their progress over the last 14 months has been unbelievable, still seems like their plodding away at a snails pace.
I wonder how man orders their getting these days?

Who knows, Jody is alluding to the problem being a supply chain issue which I have no idea how they don't have their supply chain together by now.

I've suffered from a local internet outage this week. Our miners are still hashing away because everything is redundant for them, but the script to send out divs runs on a machine separate from that network. I just got home and will be sending them manually within ten minutes. Sorry for the delay here!

As for the Singles, I've still got no word from BFL on the matter. Hopefully it will be soon...

I'm sure its less the supply chain, and more every unit being carefully "tested" for 4 months before being sent to the customer.

BFL status:
7 BFL Singles, July 17 order. Current shipping date: still June 26...
I expect at least 3 weeks before they arrive.

By that time, avalon chips will arrive, releasing the 2000 treasury shares.
I guess this explains the current sell walls...

Currently it does not look like the Avalon chips arrive anytime soon. I.e.: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=264224.0

Not sure where they are with singles. But i got a shipping notice for my mini single 30gh/s order #5315 from 14th of august. Nearly a whole year later  Roll Eyes

This might be an indication on where they are with singles...or not.

Have you considered picking up these BFL units quicker via people that seem to be bailing out on them here on the boards?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=75.0

Some of them seem to have a little premium on them, but it may be worth it in terms of lost opportunity cost.

eg: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=88839.0

Yes, and I did purchase three Singles for between 150-165 coins for myself, but as for Cognitive, we have already placed the order from BFL, which is not easily refundable by them because they have Bit-Pay configured to automate the BTC --> USD conversion.

Best,
Garrett

I would say some time before this date. Unless these are the ones that were sold, not quite sure.

With share prices plummeting and no foreseeable BFL order delivery in sight, perhaps it might be time to consider pursuing a refund (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=266945.0) and using that money to purchase in hand equipment?

A "2 week" timeframe in BFL time could mean anything, and with all the other IPOs jumping into the market, if Garrett doesn't take action we might be left in the dust.

Well, it depends. BFL is shipping every day (look for the post above.) When was the
order placed that we're set to receive? I posted an assumption, but I'm not sure if
those are the units that were sold, or we are awaiting. I agree, but between the BTC
held up waiting on BFL, and the funds from COG awaiting the Avalons, we may be set
back even more by pulling and looking to get more product.

Honestly I'm curious to see when ActM finalizes their deal with eASIC what they will be
selling units for, and if they're going to offer some sort of guaranty on ship date/etc. I
think this would be the most logical step for Cognitive in the future, regardless of what
happens with BFL/Avalon.

Hey all,

I'm currently working closely with a new 28nm developer, with an extremely reputable team. Because of this, Cognitive with be at the forefront of mining, and certainly not left in the dust Wink I'll be posting an update soon!
