6 days.

Quote
Shareholders:

It has proven much more effective to communicate without the forum, so I will keep emailing updates like this.

I have just signed an agreement with a Canadian bitcoin-mining specific datacenter to accept our Terraminers and host them for one month, on a month-by month basis. In a few minutes you will be able to see a transaction totaling ~$9000 equivalent coming from 1cogghK1bWFNSVHdicX2dQLfcWJzxHBHY to pay for setup and one month of 30KW availability (expandable to 100kw). We will have a five day ramp-up period starting on Monday of next week before the full billing cycle kicks in.

For added transparency, you can view this contract (along with any contract Cognitive has ever signed) if you sign an NDA and provide a scan of an ID. Email me if you'd like to do this.

Furthermore, the results of the motion are coming back largely as "NO and NO". I appreciate everyone's faith in this operation and I am going to see it back to the success it once was.

Best,
Garrett

The contract states that Garrett pays for hosting with personal funds / returns of his shares. There is no reason to use the cog fund for that.

Furthermore, you have to indicate how much more Cognitive "owes" you, Garrett.
http://blockchain.info/tx/bef938f3f73e393cc1ffa299bef575e0ffe1ad377dd976a93397907473f2892c
Another 3.5389 btc to your personal address? You said 2 weeks ago you had refunded the "loan" you gave Cognitive.
How much more will you drain the fund?

What worth is your promise to give back your divs of the month if you send half of the coins your personal address before sending the divs...

"Buffer payback and reserve deposit. 0.9 btc unconfirmed and will be sent upon confirmation."
What does that mean? Another 0.9 btc going into your pockets?

You don't need a buffer to pay divs. One weekly transaction sending all balance from the mining addresses split evenly to the havelock deposit and 1coggh fund is sufficient. On arrival in the havelock deposit, you issue the dividend and everybody can see the div equals this amount.

i have data from cointerra directly from ravi about the units. Garr has not been honest.... shock...

Can we get some more detail on this?

How is the voting looking? Much of a turnout yet?

Most people voting NO along with some comments saying thanks for turning things around and good work, so that's great!

Garret, how do you plan on proving the outcome of the votes? Do we just have to take your word and blind faith that you are being honest this time?

I am going to email the SHA-256 hashes of the emails and their accompanying votes, so this way you will be able to verify your own vote was counted while not compromising the email addresses of all other shareholders. (A good tool for this is here)

And I've got tracking numbers for six more boxes.

They were at the original datacenter (who never brought them online) in Eastern Washington and are now being sent to Montana, then will be forwarded by me to Canada (because the datacenter who also failed to bring the units online refused to ship internationally, go figure.)

The units are all on schedule to be online before Friday March 28th as promised.

And Goat: I have no problem with you posting the confirmation from CoinTerra after you get confirmation from the WA datacenter that the units there were never online. I'm all for transparency.

Tracking numbers of said units:
J231 967 323 3
J231 967 338 6
J231 967 335 9
J231 967 336 8
J231 967 337 7

Is that what the reinvestment fund collected from August - Februari?

Hi there,

Regarding paying for hosting with my own funds, this is simply no longer feasible so I will raise a motion to use Cog funds to pay for hosting from here forward.

Furthermore, you have to indicate how much more Cognitive "owes" you, Garrett.
http://blockchain.info/tx/bef938f3f73e393cc1ffa299bef575e0ffe1ad377dd976a93397907473f2892c

What I have been doing here has been explained in the past. I have personal funds in Havelock which I have been using as a buffer to pay dividends, then I would pay the equivalent amount back to my public address. The reason for this is speed. Why wait for a transaction to confirm before dividends when you don't have to? Well the answer to that, as we have found is simple: It confuses people and causes doubt. Therefore, I will not do this any longer. Dividends will go straight from the 1cog address to Havelock then to shareholders.

http://blockchain.info/tx/545bfb8711fe8fe5773f34e6cf073b79d620c2dcef6e4eabff6fc7be94b52935 - Correct, August to Feb minus the CoinTerra units and other expenses which will be specified in our financial report when it comes.

I hope that clears everything up. If not, please ask more specific questions.

Best,
Garret

So you do object?  Roll Eyes

Well I'm sure it will come out sooner or later in the courts.

If anyone is interested on joining we will be trying to freeze all of Garr personal assets in the near future and sue him for losses. As far as I understand it all of Cogs stuff is Garrs personal stuff (seems he never registered for a corporation like he said he would) so trying to move it to Canada is really not going to look to good but might buy you a bit of time to steal some more of our BTC. Sadly for simplicity only Americans are able to join at this point. If you were ever a "stock holder" and lost money because of this scam/fraud please contact me.

Thanks.

Quoted from above:
And Goat: I have no problem with you posting the confirmation from CoinTerra after you get confirmation from the WA datacenter that the units there were never online. I'm all for transparency.

I have registered multiple corporations to contain Cognitive in years past.

I am trying to reason with Goat right now, explaining exactly what has happened.

Please bear in mind that I am one of the few asset issuers who didn't simply run away at first chance. If I had ill intentions, I would have executed them already and I would not stick around to make things right. Gigavps and I are the only two who have stuck it through since GLBSE, and I'd really rather give management to another person than see Cognitive come to an end. I've done my best running the asset and I will continue to do so.

Goat, as someone who I have always viewed as an ally, I challenge you to wait until Friday then make a judgement and tell everyone what you think should be done at that point.

Best,
Garrett

Apart from the Cognitive stuff, you've kind of thrown CoinTerra under a bus here Goat.

I'm looking forward to a public statement from Cointerra clarifying if Cointerra or its CEO Ravi Iyengar give or sell their customer's information (including but not limited to delivery schedules) to third parties.

Apart from the usual objections to data leaks like that, leaking delivery information for expensive mining hardware to unknown third parties is a big security problem. If anybody personally knows Ravi, give him a shout. He's got some explaining to do.

I'm done waiting.

You have had more than enough chances to sort this out and there is no way we can recover our investments (and this is your fault personally). And while you did not run away you kept collecting more money and failed to pay out dividends.

Goat, I did not pay dividends while moving exchanges, then I paid a large, cumulative dividend when we finally moved. Please explain why you think this is unreasonable.

In the voicemail I just left you, I stated that it is provable by trusted third parties that I did not steal any coins as you are accusing.

(Because of my relationships with all of the top mining hardware producers) Shareholders will indeed be able to recover and exceed initial investments and it is my top priority to see that to fruition.

All I ask is to give me six days, and I will be able to prove to you that I am not the enemy.

Best,
Garrett

The cointerra deal with Ravi and Cog was only able to happen because of me and my putting up my own money to make it happen. I had to order a significant amount of hardware so Cog could get the low price.

I'm really not sure why Ravi sent me all the info he did but I do have it. I guess it was so he could be transparent in the deal. Something Garr should learn something about. I'm going to assume Ravi saw us on partners on this as it was on the same contract. I'm not sure Ravi did anything wrong.

Anyway since Garr has objected to my posting it I will not. I will not violate privacy (of Garr or Ravi).

As stated in my two posts, I am perfectly fine with you posting this, and I plan on posting it myself (because I am all for transparency), after we receive confirmation from the WA datacenter that the units there were not running, therefore I was not stealing coins.

I have never stolen from Cognitive, and I never will.

Garrett actually gave public permission yo contact cointerra in regard to their communications and he said to use that post as his reference to allowing cointerra to give the info to shareholders.

I have never stolen from Cognitive, and I never will.

If you are just that incompetent and it was really all mismanagement and lies then I feel sorry for you as you will need more than a few coins pretty soon.

Alright then. One more question for you Goat: Why are you choosing to target the one mining company who always has put shareholders' best interests first? Many will agree with this and all but you who have responded to the latest news via email have been positive and looking forward to the future of Cognitive.

And Jared, I know you are a believer that suing is the best option, remember when I convinced you not to sue CoinTerra because a more beneficial situation would come out of a peaceful conversation? It is the same case in all situations when neither party has malicious intents. I assure you my intentions are not malicious, so it would only be logical to proceed if yours are.

Whatever you choose to do, I will be on the side of the majority of the shareholders and continue working to bring the hardware online as my number one priority. (Tracking numbers provided on the last page)

All hardware is scheduled to be hashing Wednesday, two days before the deadline I have promised us all.

Regards,
Garrett

the share price is .002

i represent more than a few people who bought in at .6 or over.
clearly you do not care about the shareholders or you would not have ignored them for months and months (while you traveled the world and lived the good life on our dime) and you would not have lied to me directly (more than once).

it would have been more profitable to sue CT but really either way on that. This is a while different issue, this is personal. i think it is immoral to let you keep operating, karma after all, i would hate so much for you to keep scamming more and more people. yes i will lose more money on this but such is life.

So your interest in this is preserving the wealth of others? That is noble of you, and I think your approach could be better. What about allowing me to get the machines online, which is in the best interest of everyone's wealth, and then we find a way to settle on all of this. The share price currently is panic driven and will increase dramatically once all of this hardware goes online, you know that as well as the rest of us.

Like I said previously, our interests are aligned, we just have different ways of pursuing them. If, at the end of next week, you and the shareholders believe Cog is still being mismanaged, I will peacefully resign.

That is my confidence level in this one-week restoration of Cognitive, it's share value, and it's shareholder opinion.

Edit: Do you think a fair way to determine this would be to raise a motion, and if over 50% of shareholders want me to resign, I'll do it?

Why are you choosing to target the one mining company who always has put shareholders' best interests first?
...

This is a good point. The nearest equivalent to Cognitive was bASICMining run by creativex/timonex/Eric Corlew. He disappeared pretty quickly. Of course, Garrett would have a harder time disappearing; he's lit up like a Christmas tree.

...
Whatever you choose to do, I will be on the side of the majority of the shareholders and continue working to bring the hardware online as my number one priority.
...

For what it's worth, I believe him. Garr hasn't been doing a particularly good job lately, but Cog is still moving. Finances are a good deal more transparent now. We have a hardware inventory now. We'll have more hardware online "Soon"(TM). It's far from ideal but it could be worse. As far as I can tell, Garrett has not been acting maliciously.

...
I know you are a believer that suing is the best option
...

This is a problem. Goat, what do you think the outcome of suing will be right now. Courts may seize what little cash Garr has, maybe his car and the CoinTerra hardware. By the time courts release the hardware to us, it will be worthless. I doubt Garr has much cash lying around or houses or Lambos. Any bitcoin he has cannot be given to us by the court because that is one of the reasons bitcoin was created. It's resistant to seizure.

All we will gain by taking the legal route is satisfying the "urge for revenge" while simultaneously making sure we will never recover any value from this. Give him some time to get our hardware running and making money. If he can't do it by his deadline, then feel free to do the legal song and dance.

Never attribute to malice that which can be explained by incompetence. The urgency that COG is now showing was warranted a month ago, but we are here now.

It's hard to advocate constructive actions when the air is poisoned, but I do feel we should agree some parameters that ensure all our interests are protected.

I would see it as following:

Success: - We are mining at 18+TH/s by next Friday. COG agrees to hire external support to produce financial reports as well as arranging a 24/7 support contract. COG comm's with reopening on Havelock be discussed openly and transparently so that shareholders can make informed decisions to stay in or get out before market relisting. Dissatisfied shareholders enter in to remediation talks to change COG to a more agreeable corporate structure going forward.

Failure: - COG shareholders agree liquidation process with legal support from dissatisfied shareholders. Lawyer up.

I realise these suggestions might not be to the liking of all concerned, but this is about how we proceed not how we argue which will ultimately define the outcome for all shareholders.

Thank you for your voice of reason.

Goat, I have not committed any sort of fraud.

I agree that after this hardware comes online, it will be in Cognitive's best interest to set up a formal corporate structure whether I am managing it or not.

Regardless what happens, I will always do my best to act in the best interest of Cognitive's shareholders.
