Press, thanks for last developments.
In lasts wallets RPC command "explorer" is missing.
I was using till yesterday the BETA wallet.

Are you going to cut off this feature?

I won't be releasing any of the wallet explorer code into the public, because my website is based on it. That being said, I am alright with releasing an updated binary of it with my latest tweaks. Unfortunately I haven't ported any of the commits from the real hyperstake repo over to my explorer repo.

I've seen it get stuck syncing a couple times. Simply killing it and restarting has done the trick.

Make sure that silly windows firewall isn't blocking it too.

One of my blocks just disappeared.  I had 11 blocks of 10000 and now I have 9 blocks of 10000 and 1 block of 11000.....why did this happen?  I just started staking btw.

Never mind...i'm just a noob Smiley  The block I thought disappeared went into the staking balance.  My question is why didn't all the block stake?  Why just one?  Apparently I have a lot to learn about this PoS coin.

You can try to bootstrap your wallet. There is a great step-by-step tutorial on the firth page of this thread.

It's much better to have your wallet bootstrapped rather than synced. Please refer to the first page of this thread for the step-by-step tutorial.

Staking is specific to one block at a time, and is quite random. If you could predict with reasonable certainty that 10 of your blocks will stake in a row, it would be a security flaw that would allow confirmations of bad transactions in a much easier way. HyperStake has quite high difficulty, and it could take days or even a month of more after maturing for your block to stake, and thus it is not able to be predicted.

My oldest block currently is:
Blocksize: 1034.94 HYP
Age: 164.04 days

I had one at just over 500 HYP until recently that minted in 172 days.  Most of my other blocks are larger.

Very interesting topic for a newcomer like me. Smiley
As my older block is only 26 days old, what kind of strategy would you recommend?
Is a better to let blocks accumulate weight even if they take several month to stake, or regularly combine the older blocks and loose at the same time the accumulated weight?

Hi, I don't understand this :

Quote
This means that you will want to split your HYP blocks into the appropriate amount of HYP if you want to receive 750% reward

I have a block with 10k Hyp, 49.78 Age, 11.13 Days to stake, and Priority highest and Potential Stake 1000 Hyp since a long time ; to get the 1000 Hyp I have to split my 10k Hyp another time or I just have to wait?

I don't find an answer in the wiki, so thank's for your help Smiley

There are 2 primary staking strategies for HYP, either big blocks that stakes fast(er) but give low return or small blocks that take longer but give a much higher % return.

I have a mix of both.  Maybe 1/2 bigger blocks of 9-15K and the rest 3-4K.  At the end of the day I think either strategy ends up close to the same result.  There is still luck in staking, I have big blocks 30+ days old and small blocks that stake at 9 days.

There are some using jumbo blocks over 25K but David Suzuki believes jumbo blocks are contributing to coral bleaching off the coasts of Australia and throughout the South Pacific  so I wouldn't play that game.
