Hi Nav Coiners, It's time for the weekly update again! First, if you're new here or if you haven't been keeping up with the solid stream of development we've been doing over the last couple of months, please have a look at the great Nav Coin Monthly Digest that Sophia and Mark have put together. In other news, we have been making great progress with the Anonymous Network. We have successfully sent tests through the live network! To celebrate I have put together a live demo of me sending some Nav Coin through the anonymous network for you to check out! We are working hard towards the relaunch of the anonymous system and it is our top priority right now. I have cut back my work hours to 3 days per week so I can focus on delivering it as soon as is safe and practical. Please be advised that testing is a tricky process and we will not re-launch the network until we are fully satisfied that it can process without even the smallest of problems. We are undertaking exhaustive testing measures during this time. We take protecting your privacy seriously and want to make sure that our system is flawless! Soopy and the gang have been busy both supporting the anon network testing and working on their own projects also. The web wallet and raspberry pi staking unit are nearing completion. We have also added a few new projects to the in progress list that I'm sure you'll love. Including bringing Nav Coin anon to Android!!!! Android Anon Send and Staking Wallet
We are building a full node wallet for Android. This wallet is based on the QT version of the full node wallet and will be able to stake NAV and send Anonymous Transactions from your mobile!
Mobile iOS Wallet
We are building an iOS wallet for Nav Coin. Users will be able to send and receive NAV using the iOS device of their choice. This wallet will run using the same Electrum server as the Android wallet.
Android and iOS Nav Tickers
We will be releasing Nav price tickers for Android and iOS so you can check the value of your investment on the move. To see their progress, please head over to our projects page: http://navcoin.org/projectsTo say that we are busy is an understatement. We have so many exciting projects in the pipeline and with the anonymous relaunch just around the corner we are firing on all cylinders! I can't wait to see what happens next. I am blown away by our teams efforts every week! Stay tuned for the next episode! Craig. Bump. The Dumper is gone for good. It's Better they dumped now than during the big announcements like Anon, Decentralization and the rest. The market looks stable again and every one is hearing of the NAV brand. So it's getting alot of attention Looking forward to Relaunch of the Anonymous system

NAV has been holding its position in the top 10 in volume (7th as of this post) for some time now. Very cool to see it hang out with some of the Big Ones with substantial market caps. I would think this is a good sign.

I have a question about using the NAVcoin (Neutral Anonymous Virtual Coin ) wallet. I installed the wallet and set it up as a full node. Currently I am also staking a certain amount. If anything bad would happen I would hate to loose all my NAVcoin. I now made a backup of the wallet.dat doing the following: - copy the wallet.dat file - paste it into Veracrypt container with strong pass. Should I after every transaction backup the new wallet.dat due to using a new NAV address? Is there anything else I should do to not lose my NAVcoin/Wallet in case something goes wrong?? I will also make the backup on a USB to make sure I do not loose everything if my HDD crashes. Thanks for your help in advance, I am very new to this all and trying to learn everything. I did manage to do proper transactions to the full wallet on pc as the mobile wallet on android.

Its the old blockchain from Navajo 1.0 And I think the big adress with over 50 million coins are the swapped coins to the new blockchain NAV Coin 2.0 @shahim I think you should delete this site from NAVCoin.org, because people on Poloniex Trollbox are linking often this wrong rich-list to declare NAVCoin as shit coin, what is not true.

You do not need to backup the wallet after each transaction. The transactions are stored inside the blockchain. But when you create new addresses for receiving it is very important to make a new backup of your private keys!! I have it on several usb sticks and also printed the privkey on a piece of paper in case of emergency Backup is essentially important! Regards Shahim

Yes, I saw it two times. If this site is to see swapped coins, then maybe rename it to Swappedcoin-list.

Sadly, all of this would do no good if hacker got access to your computer or if your computer is infected with keylogger. Our NAV won't be safe until our dev could implement something like 2FA like VTR recently released. Even if hacker got access to my computer while im staking and they have my password to wallet.dat they would still need access to my phone's authy for 2fa 6 digit code. Now only wallet I feel secure (and I have lots of coins BTC LTC NAV SDC ...) is VTR. https://i.imgur.com/uy8mcjW.pngPLEASE @shahim have NAV implement 2fa tech

But why should the hacker know your wallet passphrase? Never store it digital and never use an easy one! When your password is strong enough. Nobody will have ever the chance to break into your wallet.dat!
