that 44 btc dump was epic earlier - but coin seems to be holding up pretty good .. and the volume ... mm .. good time to accumulate now

The daily dump of 0.5% of all of BTCD, costs an immediate 5+ BTC so hopefully the regular losses will discourage this sort of silly whale games.

I try to make BTCD peoples smart about what is really going on, both tech and trading market
I am very proud of community's strength against these whale games!!

Most coins now will have people screaming all sorts of nonsense. But we just laugh at funny clown bouncing on the trampoline shouting, "I'm falling, I'm falling", somehow he isnt shouting much when he is going up. Manipulation much?

wow i am glad that post got deleted : -)

Speaking of posts, I thoroughly enjoyed your post in another thread, which I am unable to find right now. Basically you stated that with BTCD's Teleport function in the works, it will eventually make the need for coins to implement anonymous features themselves less necessary. So betting too heavily long term on anon offering coins might be a risky endeavour. I thought about this for a while and you are absolutely right.

I was heavily diversified across the anon spectrum so to speak, I held a decent amount of BTC spread among 4 to 5 coins, all offering some sort of anonymity. Then it struck me, when Teleport is delivered and the end user of any coin can choose whether or not he wants to send his coins anonymously using Teleport, the need for individual anon solutions is essentially made redundant. I am not saying I am all in on BTCD, because I always diversify, but percentage wise BTCD is the main focus of my total investment. So thank you for opening my eyes Smiley
If my supernetwork plan catches on, then all cryptos will gain in value against fiat
combine that with what BTC gains from its gaining privacy
Not saying it doesnt matter what crypto you own, just that I think that it will just be a matter of different degrees of happy depending on which ones you have, as long as you avoid copycat clones with no redeeming tech of its own. [**cough** LTC **cough**]

Also to make it clear, there will always be a need for coins with anon tech built in. This helps make the telepod creator's life much easier.

Some sort of possibility:

[other anon coins] -> telepod creator's transporter acct -> telepods -> InstantDEX swap for other telepods -> ... nobody knows what happens in hyperspace ... -> back to telepod creator who can then trade them again or send them to public blockchain via [other anon coins]

So there is fundamental technical need for these anon coins, they are solving a different problem than BTCD. Maybe a way to look at the other anon coins is that they are the gateway into Teleport economy, so I think all crypto gains value and this includes other anon coins. Since a lot of these anon coins are not so user friendly, this could actually really help their usage as the gateway operators will be technical people who are used to that.

It is like at the airport, there will be the DRK terminal, the XMR terminal, the XC terminal, etc. Specialists operate these terminals and once the telepods are safely past all the onerous security checks, then midflight they are teleported to wherever they end up for however long they are gone (the longer the better), then when someone wants to transition back to the public blockchain (to do business with someone that is not directly accepting telepods yet), they land at XYZ terminal and reverse the process.

Since at first very few vendors will directly accept telepods, these other anon coins are an important part of the overall Teleport system.

I make big giant tent for all crypto to gain massively against fiat

James

Thanks for your reply James, I agree. Rest assured I still hold other anon coins, only not so much as before. I think BTCD will be the umbrella platform (or tent as you call it) from which all coins can take shelter against the current banking / fiat system. So I decided to put the most weight here. As I said, I always diversify, but the true potential of BTCD really became clear to me after Threecats' post in another thread.

All good anon coins offer other things besides simply anonymous features, like Web 3.0 functionality or encrypted Skype like videocalling, I see them as a very good platform too so I will remain invested and enthusiastic about them. It's just that I feel BTCD has tremendous potential and might rightfully take a spot in the Top 5.

[Open Invitation to all other anon coins]

Since BTCD is matching XMR marketcap before even beta release of Teleport, I am assuming all the other anon coins devs are following this one, or at least having someone from their group doing so.

I want to make it clear that in spite of its name and cool sounding Teleport and fun pirates, BTCD is an enhancer for whatever anon tech your coin has. I am just a simple C programmer. I am not some fancy academic cryptographer making new maths that only 8 people in the world understand. I am common sense type of guy. Also, I already make millions of USD so money is not my motivation. I really only wanted enough money to not worry about food and to be able to pay for daily Starbuck's latte. So, I achieved this. My goal is to help all of crypto against fiat. This includes BTC certainly, but also all the anon coins.

As coin dev you are too busy to study Teleport in depth and all the pirates in DarkPaper make it hard to take it seriously. So, I have common sense analogy.

We all know bitcoin. It is great invention, it uses fancy cryptomath, PoW, blockchains. Totally wow, and in 2009!?!?
But what happens when you log into account and you find all your bitcoins gone from the exchange? How can this be? it is so fancy, but without some additional protection just access to one piece of info and all your coins are gone. 2FA, very simple. We are talking email or sms message with a code in it. No cryptography, no fancy math, but yet without such 2FA none of your exchange balances are safe

How does 2FA compete with bitcoin?
The same way Teleport competes with your coin.
It doesnt!

Teleport enhances your anon coin the way 2FA enhances the security of any account.

Now I posted a bit back about the airport terminal analogy. I hope it makes sense to you. If you are a true dev, you must want the best anon for your coin. By connecting to supernetwork, this becomes possible. In fact, some amazing things become possible that it not possible in any other way. The combining of multiple anon coin telepods via automated tradebot swapping. If we can add a little bit of trust by having the actual official coin devs work together to make trusted teleports between terminals possible, then the attacker wont even know what blockchain to look at!

I hope you see that the different airlines are making a lot of money! Of course the airplane maker is doing fine to, but the best friend of the airplane maker is the airlines.

I am hopeful for creation of many Teleport terminals with strong cross promotions so we all help each other. Nothing will be able to withstand the supernetwork combination of all cryptos, especially when we are all combining our power to make bitcoin itself dark!

Fiat peoples maybe need to worry, but then again that is the whole point of this Smiley

James

P.S. The timeframe for supernetwork is next month for testing, but we are being contacted by press so we will be making some press release and it is never too early to make commitment to join the supernetwork. I think maybe such thing could help your market price.

So, it is silence from the very zerosum mentality XMR guys and not sure if they have even looked at the code much, the critic says he did look at the code, or if they are studying it intensely for flaws, probably somewhere in between. I am sure if they found any big problems, it will be a massive anti-BTCD FUD campaign going on. Of course lack of something is not prove of the opposite, so just guessing

Now I do see some massive new volumes on polo, 10 to 20x what it used to be and that is home of XMR crowd. They either are now silent BTCD investors who are hedging their bet on XMR, or loading up on ammo to dump and demoralize. We see such amazing coordinated 45 BTC dumps that snaps the price from .01 to .008, for a few minutes. But if they buy up enough and are determined enough, they could dump dump dump. Of course costing them quite a bundle, but BBR has undergone daily dumping and suffered. Still not sure who is doing it.

Hello james,
please simply stop your wrong accusations, no one looked at the paper as its not a real paper which has been explained a dozen times to you.
All you do here is spreading more unneeded hate for no reason, there was not a single word against your projects from someone of the xmr team.

If someone dumps your coin then its simply the ones who mined it via betarigs or bought it cheap, traders/miners/devs take their profit and move to the next coin, its that simple and it happens to every coin.

Your coin is fully mined; sorry but you know its way easier to shortterm push a marketcap of a coin that is not actively mined. You can advertise with that in 3 months if its still the case, don´t you think.

PS:  You couldn´t answer my btcd source code related question, do you have an answer now? (the stakemodifier question)

In XMR I'm expecting a slow rise with bumps.  No significant month-end dumping this time, unless there's a delusional panic of some sort.  I can barely even formulate this expectation, let alone articulate a justification for it.  If pressed, I would say:  Not enough monero on offer to stay below 0040, but too much disaster going on in cryptoland for a proper bull stampede.  BTSX is an absolute catastrophe for crypto generally, on the scale of Mt. Gox.  Other price leaders are pretty awful too.  DRK is destroying a lot of wealth.  Naive DRK holders who don't understand the distinction between DRK and XMR at a technical level just feel robbed.  BTCD could do a lot of damage to crypto as well.  This PoS blackcoin clone's market cap passed XMR today.  It could be several days before it collapses into obscurity.  Until it tops out, the dumpers won't be rolling their ill-gotten gains into XMR yet, so no choo-choo.

I am sorry for my misunderstanding of English, even after all these years I get confused sometimes. I somehow interpreted the bolded text as some sort of negative comment about BTCD from avid XMR guy. My mistake. XMR peoples are the most friendly in the world

I didnt mine any BTCD, there was 3 petahash of mining power that did all that 80% before I even got here. Also, BTCD will be getting some revenue sharing dividends, so it will have some sort of fundamental lifetime cashflow value. Not sure yet how much it will be.

I asked jutarul to analyze the PoS, I prefer to have people smarter than me to stuff that I am not so familiar with. Since he found the flaw in PPC, I figured he was good person to ask for help from. jimmy2011 suggested to change it to 72 hours and we are testing that.

I am just a simple C programmer doing the best I can and I hope for help from people of superior intellect such as yourself. Believe me, I can use all the help I can get.

So you are actual XMR dev?
I have no idea who is who with Monero. Aminorex is always such big fanboy of XMR I just assumed he was in XMR community. When I say "XMR peoples" that was meant to mean XMR community, again my bad English. When he accused me of using sockpuppets on the XMR Observer thread, I didnt see anybody post any support for my integrity, in spite of my history of high integrity behavior.

Again, my lack of understanding of the XMR Observer culture. I did not realize that when someone is unjustly accused of something, it is accepted to just say nothing. I took that to mean implicit support of what was being said.

I am glad you are here to correct all of my mistakes. Maybe someday all this tension will be disappeared? I hope so, I want everybody so succeed, but when people are hostile to me and attack me, then I am not a pacifist.

James man we can ranch the trolls, code on bro : -)
sorry, I just cant help myself when people that I know are smart are using their intelligence to mislead people
Making statements that are the equivalent of saying using 2FA doubles the chance of security risk. They are too smart to believe this, so what does that indicate?

See, this is what  dont like. Smart people have enough advantages over people that are not as smart, the last thing they should be doing is using it for misrepresenting

Now othe is not such a bad guy, he is not doing such things it is this aminorex who is saying one thing and doing another.

trolls can come here, but they will need to have their facts all in order and would help if they used proper logic for presenting such facts and also an actual analysis of any technical specifics would help.

That's all that I ask from the trolls. Am I expecting too much?

1. Close your wallet if it's open.
2. go to C:\Users\YourUserName\Appdata\Roaming\BitcoinDark   folder
3. see if there is a BitcoinDark.conf  file
