The stated goals are to increase the asset base through supertrading. What better way than to shake out the price and accumulate core currency just before a tech advance?

Also, there was the stated idea that supernet would provide buy support for member coins, but this is not happening here....?

Doesn't really matter to me, I am buying here. But wondering what the big picture is.

Meh, this is just one or two weak hands giving up after a week or more of downtrend.  I think we all know what is coming next...

I'm sorry for being an ass and bumping in out of the blue but I'd like to ask what is the current development status of Collaborative Cryptocurrency Supernetwork?
There isn't much of the info in OPP :-)

We appreciate your acknowledgment of being an ass Wink but this isn't the supernet thread. If you're interested to know more and the status, check out their forums: http://forum.thesupernet.org

I really don't understand why everyone is selling at Bittrex Huh they know something I don't?

I think "everyone" is still buying/holding.

It could have been just 1 whale selling a portion of their holdings to knock us down to .01 on bittrex.

Here is what looks like 1 person selling a 2200 BTCD chunk this morning:

Just bought 5 Bitcoins worth of BitcoinDark on Bittrex.

Here is what looks like cloudboy beginning to purchase 5 btc worth:

My point is: 1 person can cause big price swings in the short term if they want to.

Nevertheless it would be nice to have a clarification with respect to Supernet support for member coins, & what sort guidelines if any the supertraders have when it comes to BTCD. Very easy for them to increase their performance as described a few posts earlier. And perhaps that is good for the health of the supernet investors. At the same time there was no significant buy support that I saw. Is that no longer a part of the concept. Be nice to have clarification on these two issues.

I think it's just old hype drying up. It doesn't float this coin anymore.

my guess is that funds went to supernet. I put a portion of my btcd holdings into SN myself

Development Update:

I was able to connect and receive messages from SHossain  Smiley

Have not yet been able to send a message successfully.

It  might just be me for some reason...crackers and SHossain can send each other messages.

Testing Lfactor and how high we can go before pubaddrs don't send.

Matthew

I'm glad you liked it Aptidude. For some reason some users can not use it and have to add :3000 at the end. I'm not an expert and don't know why this is happening. I can access it from the main domain.

There is a guide in the OP about wallet sync problem. You can find the node list too. Additionally, add this ip 37.59.108.92 to your node list. It has stable and fast connection.

Anyone else having problem with sync or if it is too slow, you can add the above node in your BitcoinDark.conf file.

is the teleport still going ahead

To quote James...

"The SuperNET tech is being tested with about a dozen live servers and while it is not working perfectly, the bugs found so far do not seem so serious. As soon as the low level networking is solid, it will be possible to complete the higher level applications like Teleport, Tradebots, etc. Also, the API can be opened up for other coins to use and to implement their own special features."

I have basic knowledge in C, and little proficiency in Python, Ruby, HTML5/CSS3.
Could you advise me what to learn more specifically?
You can recommend books or sites although I would appreciate more specific advises more.

Hi and Welcome!

It's always good to grow our community and have talented people reach out to us!

It really depends on what you want to do and what most excites you.

If you want to use your HTML/Python, etc. why not work on a web app for BTCD?

We can always use more testers if you know your way around a linux terminal and want to test SuperNET with us!

https://forum.thesupernet.org/index.php?topic=66.0

Let me know if you have any questions.

Matthew
