Everyone, just stake.

This makes the blocks go faster> quicker ending Pow> increase in price

How to?

My wallet says:

"Not staking because you don't have mature coins"

And Yet, I've had the same thing since yesterday at 10pm (it's already 5pm), I thought maturity was after 8 hours?

Thanks

+1

would someone be nice enough to explain how to stake this coin?  Grin

#1. Put coins in wallet

#2. Leave wallet running

#3. Sit there

Done that, not working.

Do coins need to be static?
e.g. If I mine and receive instant payouts, due to P2P, would that affect the "coin maturity"?

If you've encrypted your wallet it won't stake

It is encrypted, but it is unlocked for staking.

Relax. If your wallet is synced, unlocked and running, it'll stake.

might want to feed off the miner dumping between 14 and 15 during the remainder of POW.  Looking at the charts though I get the feeling we are on the launch pad right now.  Maybe just get what you can now and wait for the dump.

Chart does look like it is on the launching pad. Toyed with 25K twice and is settled at 14-15K.

End of POW will be interesting.

Literally within seconds of unlocking, I received a "mining" deposit. But nothing more since then. Maybe I should lock and unlock?

Patience is all... think of how many others have inputs trying to stake, and the weight noted in the bottom right green icon bubble... even if you are within parameters to stake, your CPU still has to make a valid hash AND you are fighting with all the other valid inputs to do so... it is likely PoS will be sketchy for almost everyone until PoW is finished.

Just leave it open, unlocked and wait. Others in a backroom chat have already staked a few times... it will happen.

Also, go vote... I have already been told by the guys running Cryptsy that the boss man was asked about BTCD, so them adding it to the vote so quickly speaks volumes... they just want to gauge total interest...

https://www.cryptsy.com/coinvotes and get some momentum up there.
