Bonus PAyouts Round Completed.
Next Bonus Payout in 8 hours!
Thanks miners!
(We are taking only 0.99% of fees, this means 0.792 BTCD each block found. Bonus payouts amounts are 0.1 each round. We did already three rounds of bonus payouts paying more than 180 miners totally since launch. )

Dev should implement darknode like feature soon, so we can quickly build a stronger masternode infostructure to add even more value to the network.

"Good Morning... BitcoinDark... Good Morning... BitcoinDark..."
FYI I got 2 stake payouts since my first in wallet block hit at 2:30 PM EDT (the rest of my minings are on Bittrex from launch).

Is the dev still active? Re-reading some posts, I'm just curious how this will work when implementing the anon features and future of this coin as it states in the ann post that it'll be community driven. I respect the idea, but I just want to be clear on the dev's intentions. Based on his/her past post history it seems they're genuinely interested in making a quality coin and everything has gone well so far, but I'm a little bit wary based on the comment about them not being a technical dev. Is that hinting that the work may have to be done by community members and those interested in the coin?
Hello! I am part of BTCD community now and I happen to be developing a cryptonote fork to add anon features to NXT. It turns out that my methods should apply to BTCD also. I will be working on integrating cryptonote tech into BTCD, but it is more than "just" cryptonote anon tech as I am also making my solution include a near realtime exchange (InstantDEX) so people can directly trade just by running the coin. How will all this work you ask? https://github.com/jl777/pNXT has the current source code and it is rapidly being developed. Once InstantDEX is done, I will be adding Privatebet (peer to peer sportsbook) to the pNXT framework, plus the way it is implemented there is no reason any other number of useful services cant be added. My efforts are in parallel with all the other BTCD coders and I try to design a clever way to integrate to require minimal changes to the BTCD codebase. So, if I succeed, then all the peoples selling at current prices will not be so happy. There is no reason that other anon tech in BTCD can't combine with the cryptonote tech, in fact pushing tx through two independent anon algos would only help if it is done properly. So, I bring very good news to BTCD and now I expect a massive in increase in the FUD level James P.S. I am not so active on BTT, but you can find out more about me on NXT forums and jl777.org Great to have you onboard James! Exciting times ahead! Great news! Do you have an expected timeline for implementation. It is never possible for accurate timeline for things that have never been done before. This certainly qualifies as "never been done before" That being said, I am fulltime+ (100+ hrs per week) on this and I do code pretty fast, so I hope to be done by end of summer with initial release Also, the amount of people who help test can really accelerate the timeframes, especially with network stuff, I literally cant create the real world scenarios that a half dozen active testers can. Currently, things are "early alpha" James JL777 is absolutely the man of NXT.

Apex was in a similar situation about 24 hours ago, yet it couldn't push past 3K. Huge buy support but buyers not willing to commit. I think interest tapered off due to low volume. I feel the same will happen with BTCD if volume doesn't start increasing. We need a good increase in volume to create a little panic in the market before the market looses interest.
