How many coins does 1th generate a day from the pool?
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

We also have a fundraiser for james anon card so do also check that and donate some BTCD if you can.

Can you be more specific about "donations"? Let's say I send 100BTCD to the address provided on the site, what exactly will I get for it? Considering the goal is 33kBTCD and NXT asset, how can I calculate what percentage of the transaction fees I will get?
Thanks.
The exact percentage would depend on the exchange rate between BTCD and NXT
1% of transaction fees are for the asset holders and I expect that 1 million NXT will be issued for the asset
So assuming 20:1 ratio, 100 BTCD would be ~2000 NXT, so that would be 0.2%, not much be then again 100 BTCD isnt very large investment.

I will put up matching amounts to whatever is raised, so if we can raise 25,000 BTCD, I will put up 500000 NXT to reach the 1 million total. In the event we cant raise 25000 BTCD, we can return or repurpose the amounts raised.

I really think this will be a very valuable service to have, plus I dont mind getting 0.5% of all transaction fees Smiley
To put that in perspective, if $1 million goes through the card, the 0.5% is $5000, which is already 20% of capital back.
$1 million might sound like a lot, but remember a couple weeks ago, half million per day of BTCD was trading

It sounds like James is coding a bunch of stuff together that's not supposed to fit together.

He's going where no dev has ever gone before.

So it's about 2.6 btcd / 100gh a day

The new BitcoinDark website is now available on http://bitcoindark.net check it out and give me feedback on do you like it or not, what should you think should be added, i am always open for suggestions. On the site we present you unique possibility to submit a bounty request and explain why bitcoindark needs that bounty, after adding your bounty request bounty is put on voting and every member can vote for a bounty once every 24 hours, so from time to time we will take the most voted bounty and present it. We also have a fundraiser for james anon card so do also check that and donate some BTCD if you can. The site will be constantly developed and many new features will be added, if you like it and support our work you can donate some BTCD to the address in the bottom of the site or in my sig.

Website looks awesome, thanks!

Is the "Funds Received" amount (under Fundraiser -> Anon Cards) manually updated?

After literally hundreds of test/debug revisions, the first PTL tradebot that has access to realtime exchange data:

Here is the tradebot JSON:
{'lang':'ptl','botname':'testbot3','outputs':[{'name':'test','type':'double'}],'picoc':

'double main(int argc,char **argv)
{
    int ev,ch;
    if ( init_PTL(&ev,&ch,0,''BTCD'',''BTC'') == 0 )
        return(0.);
    printf(''FROM TRADEBOT %s %s %s: highbid vol %.6f %.8f || %.8f vol %.6f lowask\n'',Exchange,Base,Rel,Bidvol(0),Bid(0), Ask(0),Askvol(0));

    return(Bid(0));
}'

After I submit it, it returns the result of the "compilation":
json_handler returns.({"metalevel":0,"numinputs":0,"numoutputs":1,"IOsize":"8","codelen":"277"})

Now it is active in the system and it gets called for each price change. It is looking for BTCD/BTC trades and it will simply print the top of the orderbook. The lines with blue exchange are the new quote coming in and within a second or two, the TRADEBOT returns the right values.

     cryptsy Jul_29_14 08:00:05 PM  BTCD/BTC   0.00122272 0.00124613
FROM TRADEBOT cryptsy BTCD BTC: highbid vol 117.000000 0.00122272 || 0.00124613 vol 95.000000 lowask
     cryptsy Jul_29_14 08:00:11 PM  BTCD/BTC   0.00122273 0.00124613
FROM TRADEBOT cryptsy BTCD BTC: highbid vol 21.500000 0.00122273 || 0.00124613 vol 95.000000 lowask

So, still some cases to make sure it isnt flipped, but what this shows is that I am getting the data from the exchanges and making it available to the the picoc script inside the script, which means now scripts can look at the orderbooks and all the various timeframe bars to make decisions on what to do.

So, a bit more debugging and then adding action functions so the tradebots can do more than printouts and return values. For those of you not familiar with what this is all about, http://www.metatrader4.com/ shows a similar system for forex, but that is only for users of a particular broker. With what I am making anybody can run tradebots that are making decisions from external API data, blockchain data, etc.

I am pretty sure that there is no other system like this and the rate I code, I doubt anybody will be able to catchup Smiley
So, I plan to make InstantDEX the most powerful automated trading platform in the decentralized arena

http://btcd.dogeofwallstreet.com/

Guys, check this game out. We made it for Bitcoin Dark and it's community. It gets really fun if there is a lot of people playing. We have done this for other coins, as well as for our own coin, Black Coin. You can make a lot of money.

The point is this: It's a ponzi game, everyone wins except the last person. But they still have a chance to win the jackpot.

There are different level trades, which are different time lengths, and price points.

When an investor buys in, the clock starts, the price goes up a little. They wait for the next person to buy in, and that money goes to them, which is always profit. Then that guy waits for someone to buy in.

So potentially any level trade has the ability to make you 2000 btcd if ppl keep playing!

When you successfully buy in you get a ticket to the golden parachute pot. Even if ur the end losing investor, you can still take home the pot.

YOU CAN NOT LOSE IF UR THE FIRST TO BUY IN, CLOCK DOES NOT START UNTILL SECOND INVESTOR BUYS, GUARANTEED MONEY BUYING IN FIRST

If no one buys in by the time the clock runs out, then that last investor, gets stuck holdig the bag, and loses that investment, so u need to get ppl to keep playing.

If anyone has any questions let me know, come play guys
And please if anyone sees any bugs or issues with the website or game, let me know.

had a bit of a detour to add support for 64bit integers, but all seems good now
also verified I can make any function available to the PTL script, so almost all the compiler issuers are under control

I think someone is running some kind of bots on Bittrex that is playing the spread for profitability.
any time anyone places either a buy or a sell order it immediately places a order a few satoshis either more or less expensive.
not sure what the point of that is (other than supressing the price) because it seems to have killed all the volume

hype train doesn't last that long, they are now on coins like key and cloak.

Sometimes I feel like james's posts are too complicated for hyping community. They usually like comments "yay anon, price to moon" etc. and here it's way more complicated and bigger than that. (not trying to bash other coin here, but just for example)

I'm sure the hype will follow when features are near complete and they are simplified in pretty pictures. Smiley

Yep on all counts.

James, I'm a dev myself and even I have trouble following much of what you're posting Smiley  Maybe include a "dumbed down" summary as well as the detail?

To the other devs, how are things progressing with BTCD core features?

I will try...

I made a Turing complete scripting system that will let people write scripts to do anything they want with exchange API, bitcoind/anycoin daemons, use my encryption network, of course InstantDEX and even make queries to any website. Not all implemented, but as I need more functionality, I will extend the language and libraries.

OK, I guess not so simple...

Any functionality you can think of will be able to be coded in a script.
Oh, it will make me much faster at getting stuff done. Especially with the dynamic tradebot topology that lets me specify any sort of dataflow that is wanted and I get to inject any procedural routine anywhere in the dataflow.

Let me try again. I've been slowed down by lack of tools. I make tools so I am not slowed down and I can write code at full speed.

James

P.S. Ever heard of Etherium? With my customized language I will be able to write everything etherium wants to do, all by myself. Imagine if we got half a dozen coders?

We're working on it.  GitbKnowsall, is currently working on putting together infographics to help illustrate the features in development.

I've asked others to compile all of James's posts and help to simplify them for the less technical among us.  I don't think this is Jame's responsibility, but rather others in the community should step up to get this done.

I think James should continue to do exactly what he's doing and we should all step up to support his efforts.  Basically, the idea is that the less things James is distracted with, the sooner real game-changing features will be implemented.

As for progression of core features, I'm not gonna give a definitive time for that, but I'd like to let everyone know that some core features will be added soon.
