Because I read that multiple times: A whale incentive programm isn't something you code in a week. You need to plan, get big money in, have lots of connections. If you look at SYNC, the entire coin is built around it (supply, interest, and so on). But SYNC is not made to be used as a currency. I really like APEX and the way they're headed, but I dont think that's the direction APEX should go just because SYNC has a huge rise atm.

In my opinion, APEX should focus a lot on two things: their community and real usability as a currency.

More community means more ideas for the coin, and more votes which result in better thought decisions. I just read about SFR including a tweet box, data feeds from crypto-currency exchanges and a IRC client (which we already have, and I like it Smiley) built in their wallet, maybe add things like those too? And we're a little small for now, but maybe build reddit and include some access via the wallet?

In terms of usability, maybe work towards a mobile wallet?
Also, is this still POW-POS hybrid? We could include multi-alg, fits the flexibility aspect very well.

Hello all, just wanted to pop in and give an update. All our initial testing today went as expected. At this time we are still on track for a Friday release. Also, stay tuned tomorrow as we release the poll for the next feature.

I hope included a Whale incentive program in the poll Smiley

If you have a suggestion, let us know and we will include it to be voted on Smiley

Yeah I messaged you on twitter and also posted about it yesterday.

While we do our final tests to meet tomorrow's Tor deadline, we would like to invite everyone to participate in choosing the next feature APEX will adapt. If the feature you want is not listed, please comment and we will add it to the list so it can receive votes. The poll will last 7 days.

Not sure, there doesn't seem to be a guide somewhere on this forum stating the exact figures either.

Maybe post it on the poll thread so dev can add it to the count.  I haven't decided which feature to pick yet, they all sound like a neat feature to have.

I would think any changes would require updating the wallet if it changes the source code.  I am usually up to date on my wallets so updating doesn't matter to me much because I know I'll always be on the same blockchain.  Smiley

Hello community. I am sad to bring a bit of bad news, but after hours upon hours of testing, the new Tor client repeatedly forked when trying to connect to the live APEX blockchain. In short, APEX's genesis block, which was originally forked from BOOST, is incompatible with Tor. We have completed a different fork of APEX that has Tor, and it is fully functional, but cannot run it on the current blockchain without forking. The only way would be to perform a coinswap, much like CAIx and SHIBE did. Unfortunately, literally every coin that has attempted this has seen their prices tank into oblivion, and not a single one has recovered. That is a problem for us, as we have put a lot into this project and do not want to see our coin suffer such a fate. The multipool is still on the way in about 2 week's time, and we believe that if we focus on something else, such as a webkit wallet with built in Bittrex/Cryptsy exchange, we can continue without Tor. However, this coin is as much the community's as it is ours, and if everyone feels strongly enough for it, we can perform the coinswap. Just remember, for whatever reason, literally every coin that has done it has died. This is not an opinion, it is a lesson from history.
