before I search forum, thought i'd ask ioc community first....I may need a website built, any recommendations?
I create websites using wordpress. easy templating and changing. Not 100% exactly what i need sometimes, but it will do in 99% of the cases. Richard thanks, will see what i can figure out

DEVELOPMENT UPDATE MAY 11th 2016 We made some improvements to the daemon so that management of the creation of new names and subsequent activations would be easier and more user friendly. New names are created now, and immediately associated with a wallet address, when a new name is created a random hash salt is created (as previously) but now the random hash is stored in the meta data for that address. Only the user with the wallet can see the name and it's status, this allows the activation to be controlled in a self contained way from the wallet, the wallet can poll the daemon and a new name can be seen as pending and the salt can be automatically retrieved from the address meta data, when the user chooses to do a first update ( for which the salt is needed). Now that we have a final working prototype in our wallet working we are soon to be moving on to messaging integration and final clean up for the beta. We want to also let our community know that aside from developing, we have been in constant meetings for structuring and meetings with outside companies that have reached out to us for potential use of the chain. This has slowed down a bit some of the developing, but nothing major, just a few days of delays here and there. Going forward and as our team at some point starts to grow, we wont have to be pulled for meetings only in some occasions. We are also going to be very selective to who we decide to work with because we are getting many requests and our model is quality not quantity. We can tell you that, all of our meetings that have been conducted have been successful and our counterparts have high respect for our work and dedication. All foundation paperwork has been submitted and we are waiting on approval of the foundation. Our entire team is static that we have made it all together this far and will continue to work hard in the coming days as an actual non profit entity. I/O Digital Dev Team

But who really thinks a new wallet is going make a difference to the IOC price which has been falling for months?

Its not just about the new wallet, far from it. Think Lisk + Waves = Dions + Chamleon = with a wallet a million times better than anything in crypto.

Hello Community we have been quite busy these past days, therefore we have not had a chance to post an update. We are currently still debugging the backend for the aliases in DIONS, dealing with paper work for foundation, working on tasking new web redesigns for IOC, DIONS etc and also have been fully submerged in getting it all to work smooth with the wallet to make the front end changes for beta. We are all hard at work even though we might be quite, nothing to be worried about, just annoyances from all the new changes to the code. Again feel free to reach out to us in slack if you have any questions. We should have a formal update by next week.
Thanks Everyone

Where we are now in development of new wallet with DIONS? 10%...50%...90%? Thanks! We have been at around 90% this is just final api integration, clean up and soon testing. Wallet already loads, syncs blockchain, can register encrypted decentralized aliases, update, transfer with a few bugs and soon messaging integration of api. DIONS is in the final stages, we did however update the code to include a few important changes to the aliases system. Unfortunately sometimes bugs pop up under different scenarios and can drag us a bit. Overall we are happy with how is functioning but it needs to be free of bugs. As you are all well aware any company or project working on code always even after release is slightly bugged down by unforeseen bugs so we are eliminating all possibilities that turn up as we are in the final stages of api integration. Will keep you all informed as we progress. Cheers!

I think it would nice if the community got together and put up a wall to support the price, A down trend with a few bitcoins traded daily is not a great look..
I'm quite happy just to buy on weakness. Normally I don't like to buy in a downtrend but I think this coin may be off the radar. And it may stay off , but I still like it

Hi Guys,
I got some questions why things take so long and what our goals are for the future.
Some of you been here quite a while, some are new. Lets start by saying that it is nice to see people looking further than just hype and actually see that the team has been here from day one (since july 2014) and still are. In the crypto ecosystem it is hard to find legit projects that actually have a vision, deliver what they promise and pay for the developments themselves. You have seen that we delivered a fantastic HTML5 wallet, have a steady Blockchain, loyal holders and do everything with extreme caution. We don't hype or over-promise anything.
We are putting all our savings and spare time into this project trying to make it successful. We do this because we believe in it. We do this because we love technology and know what a game changer Blockchain technology can be. We want to be part of that future. We want to tell our kids that we were part of this technology revolution. Services that they will probably use in their daily lives without knowing they use Blockchain technology. It is very rewarding to see that people are genuinely interested in what we do and analyze that. Thank you for that.
I would like to elaborate some things about our current developments and future.
DIONS will be our coming release that opens up "data on the Blockchain" together with features like Decentralized Alias and (private) messaging capabilities or storing small parts of data in the IOC chain. Next will be launching the Chameleon framework that will be the 'glue' between Blockchains. Blockchains that are there for companies that want a Blockchain with the usage of the I/O Digital Blockchain features. All connected together.
But that is not all, we have a big new project coming. Lets call it "project sunrise" I'm not going to hype this in here, but just wanted to say that DIONS and Chameleon are important to us, but will be just part of our "big" Blockchain ecosystem where project sunrise will be the ultimate goal for us. This project sunrise has the potential to be game changing. I know, everybody says that, but i like the phrasing and we truly believe it will be.
This idea we have had for a long time now. We just need to take one step at a time - like setting up the I/O Digital Foundation - to get to where we want it to be.
DIONS and Chameleon are extremely important for this "project sunrise" and need to be 100% secure, fast and reliable. This is why we take our time because DIONS itself will not be our end goal and needs to fit in exactly where we need it to fit in. No hurry in this case because we know where it will fit in at a later stage. Yes, we do want DIONS out as soon as possible, but we don't rush things. There is a greater goal on our minds.
We are finetuning the plans, but when we reveal our plans, then you will see that it will all fall together in one big large Blockchain ecosystem that will disrupt many industries. Unfortunately i cant tell you more than this and when we can announce. It will come and you will be surprised (and we hope you will be happy).
We are also working on a new I/O Digital website. I know we have a great website, but what we are planning does not fit in the current site. Some new designs, new infographics and explaining the big picture in a better way with a great white paper. When we announce the "project sunrise" then we have the intention of launching this new website as well.
Thanks for sticking with us. We are very happy with such loyal and friendly community members. We can only ask you to spread the word about I/O Digital in any way you can. Much appreciated.
Cheers,
Richard

Hey Richard, thanks for updating us. Project Sunrise sounds very interesting. Wondering what it could be You don´t have to rush DIONS. In my opinion, it is anyways better to promote and release stuff by end of summer than in June, July or August. Lots of financial guys are having a vacation in these three months. Lots of festivals, family and stuff. As we say, sell in May and walk away. Buy back in September.
