Glad to see VTC getting a huge boost based on SegWit rumors. While it's unfortunate it seems they are ahead in the development (not that it's a race) I think it's positive to see the market react with strong demand off the news.

IT is a race *looks at Litecoin chart* Yeah ahead of development & racing while F2pool doesn't support SegWit yet. Trying to have a race could result in unwanted results for investors. Litecoin telegram chat "Is SegWit active yet? " Every hour. |

Everyone seems to be patient and even when we go days with any real news (although that's not to say progress isn't being made) few people are whining about it. I sure hope it stays this way. |

So anyways, the dev I hired just gave me access a couple hours ago to his Viacoin Merged mining gitlab repository. Not entirely done but I'm looking at the code right now

He guys! Viacoin is a bit like CounterParty right? Thinking it might be a good idea to connect to the internet of coins project. They have been working for two years now on connecting blockchains using hybrid assets, and I think if they can support XCP they can add VIA, am i right? It would bring liquidity to VIA I hope, as I still have some VIA, but not selling.  |

How is it going with segwit Romano? Have you hired a developer? EDIT: did Viacoin just had a halving?  Hashrate is down to 500/600 GH/s and the reward per block is now 0.625 VIA. Was this planned or did something wrong happen? EDIT2: it looks like it was planned. Subsidy halving every 657000 blocks starting from block 1971001 so if my math is right we halved at block 3285001. Cool! The annualized inflation is now of only 3.5%. I'm surprised no one is talking about it!  do not need to surprise over it i am also feeling wonder over this phenomenon. |

Two scenarios here: 1) Segwit implementation won't ever happen in VIA 2) Romano let's the price drop (by being silent) just before announcing some good news about SegWit, to take some profit. Be prepared for both Yeah or option 3) Romano doesn't control the price himself and has simply been working away. He's still got a ways to go but is working on it and will say something about it regardless of price when the time is right. But you're right... it's probably #1 or #2 |

Simply looking at the incredibly high network hashrate of 400+ GHash is enough for me to know some people think it should be as high as coins like Gamecredits. I've used it as an expexted value indicater before and it has led me to making a lot of profit.

thats a good target zone, there are literally at least 100 alts with worse fundamentals but higher market cap than via :p you have to laugh at people still selling the bottom |
