You guys do realise that there are around 800,000 coins around at the moment right? The 18.4 billion cap will take years to reach. It is cheap right now.

We need a blockchain explorer. Is one in the works?

You all can contact them. I already wrote Bittrex and Poloniex. But you should also do it!

im not buying this coin until all the obtimized miners are out and there is more evidence of a fairer distribution.

other wise i will wait few days until the 15 minute fame its over and the exchanges are overflown with sell orders.

buying it right now its just feeding the 10 people who are mining this coin like crazy,

noticed how no one is posting how they found a block ?

well with a distribution pattern like that I smell a huge fail coming...

Same scam like darkcoin happening again...
I dumped what I had and I'll wait something less scammy, maybe first clone when public gpu mining will be available...

You realize the rewards for this coin are gradually reduced in half over ten years?

Please compare this with DRK and report your conclusion.

Those addresses could be exchanges, i dunno. The few large miners I know of seem to have 30k or so.

Minerd/getwork appears to have an issue. It works fine if your mining 1 instance of minerd per wallet. With more, aka private pool, it doesn't work right because getwork is only generating new work 1/sec or so. I changed getwork to always generate new work when called. This will however create very large load on the daemon. Not sure what the best way to use it is. New builds will be up shortly. 904/905

I feel like something is weird about the difficulty. Difficulty has hardly increased from 12 hours ago, but I'm finding ~10x less blocks compared to then. I'm mining on 340 CPU cores so I shouldn't see THAT much statistical variation

If the difficulty hasn't changed, it's not any harder to mine. Hugely random. 10x sounds bad, but if it's maybe 3x higher than should have been 1 day, and 1/3 of expected the next, that's almost nothing.

Hello, I have the miner working in the latest wallet 1407290 version but cannot figure out how to use minerd on multiple CPUs with the same wallet. I'm not sure what to write in the batch file.

Any help with an example will be very much appreciated.

This coin looks great and I want a block or more!
Thank you.

i feel that is good for the price at the beginning stage , dev got massive quantity and he will definitely pump and protect the coin , yes , its really sad but welcome to the crypto ! money talks .
you should just mine/buy without complaining Grin after dev and which most important is dumping before him and moving on to the next coin , never ever get back to it with whistling saying GG

did you see the coins with 0 premine and no instamining or fork problem which smelled "fair" were always prooved to be scam?

well , if you wanna a "fair" , learn the coding and make your own coin , you r GOD in your own coin , is that clear? Angry

Looking back of Dark , the only reason that it had been pumped like rocket was because that the half of total quantity of 40 years darkcoins had been instamined in 1(yes,only one fucking day , maybe just a laptop mining) and not just hyping of anonymous , the hyping was just a method of pumping and attracting. the price of huge instamining coins will easily been pumped up while he keep buying the rest of coins from miners in a rediculous high price then hype the "new feature" and finally dumping like a hell , thats why the fucking bonus formula of Darkcoin is 2222222/(((Difficulty+2600)/9)^2), less reward mining late Wink

and its how the game plays, got it?  sadly the BTC created this rule Grin

If you can't see the work that was involved here you must be blind or just technically related an idi...

Tired of fools like you down talking every interesting project just to pump some scam shit coin on another thread.
I found myself more than enough blocks with some rented resources and bet some money on it, like every other miner who sees potential here too.

If you aren't willing to risk something to get a return than don´t wine when someone else found more.

PS: It doesn't introduce some "new feature", the blockchain is more or less based on a different technology but i guess you didn't even read the Wiki.

I'd say that 'fishy' is not really the term that applies on this one.
- This coin had a testing thread with a running testnet for weeks.
- A reasonably sized group of people participated and provided inputs as development progressed.
- There was a pre-ann a week in advance before the coin going live.
- There is no premine/IPO.
- Strong online presence (see website/wiki)
- Solid technical arguments and significant innovation.

If cryptonite holds up against the test of time, rigorous use, and provided that no significant code flaws are found to exist, or that any are fixed before major damage is ever done - the current valuation is low. If the implementation is found to be critically flawed - the current valuation is high.  Grin

Plenty of other things could be said though, I'm just shortly describing that there was a lot of activity before cryptonite going live, and I'm quite confident that it was that activity, along with a reasonably smooth launch (though certainly not perfect), that prompted the early exchange support.

Cheers,
~ Myagui
