Even if I am thinking the same way, I still think you must be more careful with such declarations. (1) We have many DRK followers in our midst (2) without Evan's ideas there would be no their implementation in SPR (3) It's still very subjective verdict anyway. Only time will tell. Even if we make an assumption that Evan is not so good in coding itself, he's anyway very good organizer and manager. DRK success proved it. And SPR is still small. We must act friendly and not hostile against DRK. Without accusations of DRK community members in trolling ITT etc. Gandhi is a cool guy. Let's be just as him. Try to make peace, not war.
Some people even started some conspiracy theory about BCT mods etc. Please, do not do it. Be rational. Well, there was some not so good conjuncture, but all this will only make SPR stronger. For example, after Mr. Spread ban we have much more activity on spreadcointalk.
Another thing, an expression of too fanatical believing is indeed can scare investors and people who just are passing by the thread. I find SPR amazing, but from time to time I speak ironically about 'Advent of Prophet Our Mr. Spread (Who came to save us) and His Holy Writ, The Whipe Paper'.
And yet another thing. Hype coins can be more survivable. Now it's typical when community of some altcoin consist of people who look at their coin only as ponzi scheme. Everyone thinks he can oversmart the others. So the price rises. But with more high price a coin itself become more stable and reliable. So hype is not very bad thing. Somebody ITT admitted that SPR can die off. I know about it too, although it's very unlikely. But its ideas and code will live anyway. Just in other coin. There is always a risk. So what? I think SPR now is perfect investment anyway.
Trolls lately start to tell that there is/was a price manipulation. Any observation of SPR trading history and this thread can tell the opposite. There was no pump, just natural growth. We don't have resources to pump. Or, at least, did not have them in early days of trading. This coins exists on enthusiasm. At first, only Mr. Spread himself did something. And then more people started to help him. Because they liked the coin. Simple as it. And because it was pure goodwill and enthusiasm, we actually have the right to be proud of our achievements.
