I think that Mr Spread was invited to join the Darkcoin dev team but declined.
He probably secretly accepted the offer to use SPR's ideas on DarkCoin lol Sadly some of the innovations that Mr Spread used for masternodes were trialled and rejected by Darkcoin some time ago. I think this is why Darkcoin devs wanted him on board...to share the problems they encountered to better harness Mr Spread's abilities. There would have been nothing stopping Mr Spread starting his own coin a bit later once he had learned more about the pitfalls of masternodes and masternode payments. There is a reason why Darkcoin had to come up with the temporary solution of the "reference node" and Mr Spread and Spreadcoin was running straight towards it.

Cover both bases - bitcointalk and spreadcointalk. use refresh extension to save on wearing out your buttons. That was a free public service announcement brought to you by a new SPR bag holder. Please feel free to donate your nolonger needed SPR

In my humble opinion out, what's going on exchanges, is that someone is giving the opportunity to those who believe in SpreadCoin ... For some this glass is half full! For others it is half empty! Cheers Graham

PayPal just killed Kim Dotcom's payment source because Visa and MasterCard put pressure on a US Senator. http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2xbowj/kim_dotcom_on_twitter_lets_give_bitcoin_a_boost/So Kim will be moving to Bitcoin when he does the set-up. Signs that these torrent/crypto projects are a natural fit. Just the business model needs working on to keep everyone happy. edit my cross post (not promoting another project, so no link) Crypto / Torrent links is something Master Nodes can get involved with very easily. I'm staggered at how many people use Mega. 15million registered users, in just a year or so. Crypto is seriously missing a trick here.

Master Nodes could do this without too much effort: Mixcoins, send payment to master nodes, send torrent link, get back download link #letsmakeithappen

Humanity has become a big family, so we can not ensure our own prosperity if we do not ensure the prosperity of all. If you want to be happy, you must resign yourself to seeing others also happy. (Bertrand Russell)

Anyone wanna bet 500 SPR when MrSPR will show activity on one of his accounts?
500 SPR he shows activity on Saturday.
I'll take your bet Flights from China to the UK usually get here between 3-6pm. If he is in Europe, we can expect him to login just before midnight on Saturday. Pushing it, but be ready to handover your SPR.

Interesting that the hashrate is still pretty high for a "dead" coin. From my experience, hashrate dropped almost at the same time the price of the coin did and i doubt that hashes r generated from the small miners? I guess some big miners still think it's worth mining this coin even with Mr.Spread gone.
