It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I did go on a holiday to visit my family but when I got back yesterday, I couldn't remember my password.
I put a fake email address to my account too so I couldn't recover it.

Hey guys, is everyone able to see Mr. Spread's email address on Spreadcointalk?
Because I can, and theres something about it... It seems familiar.

It reminds me of Satoshi mixed with Gavin Anderson.

I think that's exactly what he means. Does anyone know Satoshi's email? No.

I think he (satoshi)  had a generic email then suppress it later on.
For Mr Spread : the spread forum let you send an email with the forum interface : but only admins have access to real email.

I can see it, but it doesn't have anything to do with satoshi or gavin andresen.

It's a reference to the movie matrix. ;-)

Mr. Spread sees himself as Neo... well... if he likes.... did neo also run away? No... but he had agents and machines hunting him day and night....

Maybe our neo is not such a good ninja?

Anyone wanna bet 500 SPR when MrSPR will show activity on one of his accounts?
500 SPR he shows activity on Saturday.
I'll take your bet Cool
Flights from China to the UK usually get here between 3-6pm.

If he is in Europe, we can expect him to login just before midnight on Saturday. Pushing it, but be ready to handover your SPR. Grin

I'll be happy to pay you your winning bet

Just give it another 55minutes Mr.SPR before you show activity  Wink

10k ish buy orders. Someone knows something.

If I were to bet on "never", when would I get my SPR in case I'm right?  Smiley

I'll send them to you as a Christmas present. Maybe this year, maybe next year, or possibly the year after.

...but the order has already been filled.

Anyone consider that somebody "bought" Mr. Spread's services for a large sum of BTC?

Never considered that, but entirely possible. I still wish he would have said something. "Hey guys I have been hired by someone. I cannot continue the project."
Or even "Hey i'm done"

Usually deals like this wouldn't be revealed to the public, because it would most certainly spark an outrage amongst miners and investors.

Very true. If that is the situation it is disappointing because Mr. Spread had fantastic potential with this coin.
