I don't think anyone, minnow to whale, will appreciate this coin falling to 1sat. The devs have achieved so much in so little time and everything has been so smooth. This coin is proof that crypto currency in general is run by criminal gangs who make artificial prices and steal off everyone else. We need some more investors or a change in strategy. There is so little buy support it scares me. I know you 'only invest what you can afford to lose', which i have, but this is such a great project i just don't know why people arent getting behind it?!!
Then? is correct change strategy and DONT give all power to miner, and, yes, i like stellar strategy too.... |

So in response to PoW/PoS, price, pump and dump, speculation, direction and aim.
PoW time WILL NOT CHANGE.
PoS will start around Jan/Feb.
This is not a pump and dump scheme/coin, if you hoped it was, leave now or get involved.
As far as we see price. We would like to see Sterlingcoin maintain a price above 3000 Satoshi prior to PoW ending.
Direction of Sterlingcoin? The ability to use Sterlingcoin daily on day to day items the same as a functional currency.
Our aim with Sterlingcoin is the same as it has been since announcing. Which is to develop stable, reliable, useful systems and to gain merchants and trust to better Sterlingcoin and push it forward.
What we need from you. Participation, effort, referrals for merchants, ideas, suggestions and to build a strong community of crypto enthusiasts who truly want to see crypto currency be a day to day thing that is used by all.

I agree Pinkman, it's going to take hard work for this coin to achieve it's goals but the team know this and you can see the effort that is already being put in. |

Let me show you example of a coin that is not part of a scam and has real people supporting it, the price was low for long time and then went from 70 sat to 1900 and now stable at 550-650. So price went up almost 10 times but shot up over 24 times but market went into heavy. This is while over 500 000 coins still coming daily. Does Sterlingcoin have official forums to discuss stuff? I have a few ideas I would like to express but no point on the announcement thread because it will get forgotten about when the next page loads.
Forums have worked extremely well for Worldcoin where they built most of the community.

Let me show you example of a coin that is not part of a scam and has real people supporting it, the price was low for long time and then went from 70 sat to 1900 and now stable at 550-650. It's a great coin and is an example to every country coin of how to go about things. They were working hard and adding merchants when the price was in the toilet and the team have been engaged and dedicated throughout. They now have 50 merchants accepting Gulden from kids clothes to coffee shops and new merchants are being contacted and added all the time. I like the look of SLG at face value but I'd like to see more merchants come online before I invest. I wouldn't be too worried about the price for the moment though. The good country coins have enormous potential to the upside over the medium term IMO. I'd like to ask what is being done to bring more merchants in? Are new potential merchants being contacted regularly? I wonder if the SLG team have a template that could be released to the community so we could contact merchants ourselves with full details of SLG and how to accept payments easily. |

That must of taken some serious btc power though. The current price of Sterling is laughable if we as early adopters help support it. I believe you can do this confidently because it's not a scam so it already has trust. You can already spend the coins at merchants and wallet updates have already occurred and the devs are already working on the next update. However we can't just sit on our hands and wait for the tooth fairy to magically bring new blood to the coin, lets help grow the community. DEVS STERLINGCOIN FORUMS PLEASE. |

At current prices it will take 0.95 btc investment a day if every coin mined is dumped out and someone mentioned POW will end in under 85 days times. 85 + 0.95 = 80.75 btc. So for every +-150 000 bitcoin if 1 of that 150 000 makes it's way into the Sterlingcoin market we can support currernt prices no problem until POW ends.
Although it's more like 50% is being held and 50% is being dumped currently and then traders trying to sell high and buy low.

Is there a chance that miners are trading to keep the price down. Big miners so they receive more Sterling with high hash? Also traders might be pricing the coin on 63 million coins and not +- 4million when POW completes? I just can't understand the price right now.
Our guess would be a multipool selling to the buy orders as soon as they get the coins. |
