I'm running Sterlingcoin on a Mac too, I have the logo. Don't know why it wouldn't show up for you though.

Can you clarify if the logo is showing in the Applications folder, Dock and Launchpad?

Downloaded it again from the official website, but it is still the same. The logo isn't showing anywhere, i extract the zip and when i open the folder, it has the wallet but with the "pencil, ruler and brush on a white paper" default logo. i'm using yosemite but it was the same before i updated
EDIT: just got the logo by copying and pasting it from the official page's logo and branding section, but maybe something to look into.

We got this tested on 4 different Apple Macintosh computers and re-tested within our VM without any issues. Looks like it's your install.

until you find a block the stake will remain 0.00 then when you find one it will show which block of coins staked then when they are confirmed they will move up to your available balance

Thanks! i've got 2 more questions i hope someone can answer
1. It says that transaction confirmations is 15 blocks, but when i send to my wallet, it becomes spendable much faster. So what is the transaction confirmation if i can spend it with less than 15 block confirmation?
2. i sent some more coins to my wallet and now it says that it isn't staking because i don't have mature coins, but why i can't stake the other coins that have been mature for some time now?

Anthing coding?

Yes we are currently building a new system for Sterlingcoin and also refining the transaction explorer and online wallet system.

On top of that we have mobile wallets in the works, both standalone and API based.

1. The transaction confirmation is 15 blocks for full confirmation. 30 blocks for maturity.
2. The coins stake automatically. All you have to do to make sure you get the full 5.5% is to unlock the wallet for staking every 90 days.

ok, thanks. But when the second portion of coins finally started staking, my weight was down from 8000 (the previous batch) to 1000 with the extra coins?
also what happens if in the future i only unlock for staking once a year?

If you unlock once a year and leave your wallet open for  a year you will Stake for the whole year.  Your wallet has to be unlocked and open in order to stake.  You also need to have a balance to stake.  Feel free to private message me if you do not understand and we can talk on Skype or any other medium.
