I was gonna suggest that the devs manage the wallet, of course it takes trust but if we cant trust the devs (I think we can) then were damned anyway. I say 5000/10000 coins each, id be willing to never get those coins back and just receive a stake every so often but its not just me. Anyone?

just had an idea, haven't thought it through yet,  I was thinking about some sort of community wallet for staking purposes. We could decide on an equal amount each to stake to secure the network, sort of like a multipool but with no payouts, well not regular payouts, obviously your coins would be returned on request with added intrest. Would take some coins off the market too. Any thoughts?

The words "community wallet for staking purposes" just screams bad idea to me.

But a community wallet could be setup for donations directly to the developers.. Don't forget, they need to eat too.

It seem very suspicious how the installer is set to create a desktop shortcut for your "public" folder.

The installer places a shortcut on the user desktop and the start menu to the Sterlingcoin-qt.exe

It isn't a shortcut to the hidden data folder or your public folder.

For Version 1.3.0.0 we can remove the shortcut that get placed there if its a cause for concern.

(We thought having shortcuts placed in the start menu and on the desktop was making peoples lives easier)

Could this be why you chose to go with the Windows installer ? eg. the previous version was a .zip file.

Also as you can see below, the installer application option for placing the shortcut on the desktop is simply named "Desktop" not public or otherwise.

I don't really understand why slg price is sinking, maybe just some people are impatient and moved on to the next pnd shit coin. I'm holding and buying small chunks of slg every few days. The dev team has never gave me a reason to doubt their skills or honesty. I think when we get closer to the end of pow, then we will see the price climb nicely. Until then, keep calm and stake your slg.
