This coin is in limbo until we get an wallet for windows that is same as for linux.

Windows users are making valid pos blocks but as soon as the wallet is 1.5, coins will disappear from the wallet. We cant send coins to bittrex to trade.

Exchanges lacks patience.

I saw that visual studio still lacks complete support for c++11.

It is more the fact we are now using LevelDB 1.18

Remember MSYS and MinGW are options as well.

LevelDB 1.18 needs support for c++ 11 wich visual studio still lacks full support of.
MinGW should have what I can see support for it.

Hello Bittrex,

As we are sure you are aware we have recently updated our wallet to version 1.5 and had a hardfork at block 260,000. However because of the update to LevelDB to 1.18 we are still unable to provide Mac and Windows wallets to users. This has caused issues with the network and caused transactions to slow whilst they are waiting for the release.

Please could you not close the market but at least just take note that that is why the trade volume is low. The users want to buy and sell but until the network is stable it isn't actually viable.

Your understanding in this matter is appreciated.

Many thanks,

Yes. The community in itself is the support mechanism for Sterlingcoin.

The developers are there to support the community.

@Devs: no periodic updates here, web-page still not working ... what's going on here? To be honest I do not believe it's so difficult and so expensive to get official webpage working again. Without working official web-page, people cannot trust coin and invest here.

We do apologize for the absence of the website and the delay in restoring it's presence. Steps are now being made to restore the website's hosting in a manner where we, the devs, are not scrambling for funds the night services would be disconnected. The community's support has been, and always will be, greatly appreciated.

We will keep you posted on the progress and thank you for your patience.

It is true, the road has been bumpier then was mapped out. No, the first step was not accomplished as projected. But, the second step was ahead of projection. Smiley

We are working to make our 1st birthday a happy one.

When exactly is SLG's 1st birthday?

And what (new) milestones will have been reached by then, do you think?

lol sorry man I gotta laugh when people would rather have information given to them than research.  This info is on the first post of this entire topic "Sterlingcoin was launched on the 23rd of September 2014 at 7PM GMT (Daylight Saving Hours)"

Or maybe I have messed it up just so you have to go check the first post yourself?  Cool Tongue  Smiley

You already messed up before when you were lying in this thread. Now you are coming here again. You are not a honest person and what you are saying is always a lie to me. Once a lier always a lier.

They have put a lot of money and time into this projekt. Before it was launched they had made a lot of work.

OK, Brainiac, I admit it; I hit the keyboard a bit too quick after CryptoCanary mentioned the 1st birthday, and should just have gone to the OP for a quick look.  So what??  Big deal !!  It was hardly worth the time to create your sarky post.

Your conclusion that I would rather not/can't be bothered to do necessary research is, of course, utter bo!!ocks.

I have spent countless hours over the last 2.5 years researching cryptos. Naturally, I thoroughly researched SLG before getting involved.

Rols seems to have outed you as a troll, so I won't be paying particular attention to your future commentary; if you are just here to diss SLG and its devs//community, you can pi$$ off.

And Rols is correct about the devs.  They have invested enormously in SLG, in terms of time, effort and money.  That is why SLG is going to be a great success; this I have never doubted.

Sure, there have been setbacks; that's inevitable.  But it's how the devs handle those setbacks that counts. They have been working constantly, while maintaining a line of communication with the community about how things are working out.  I can't fault them.

All is well with SLG!

dont take it so personally, I was just having fun with the information that was available.  Rols and I have never interacted so I'm not sure why you think he has "outed me as a troll".  I was just encouraging you to look at the front page where the information you want was located and teasing you for not looking there. its not an insult against you or the coin. I follow the thread because i think the coin is interesting. Cool

edit: for what its worth i am sorry that I upset you, wasnt my intention  Smiley

OK mate, fair enough.  I may have misinterpreted your post, or misjudged its tone.

I'm glad you think SLG is interesting.  I have been following it avidly since shortly after launch.  I really believe it has enormous potential.

Stay cool!   Cool
