This coin is very interesting. It has good work behind it, known devs. It cost a lot to keep everything going and the devs have put up the money for it. We were a little spoiled in the beginning to have new things coming fast.

This coin is entering phase 2 and its going to need more work and more money. Time is always a big problem. They have some problems to be sorted out and I hope they will come out stronger than before. SLG needs also some PR to get new users.

Coin price is not an issue it have shown stability for a long time. Its a good coin that needs some improvements. I hold coins and I support the devs. They have done a great job and I hope for more.

Totally agree! SLG devs are making great job!! I think it should community job to make the PR

I propose:

PR for crypto space
- Signature campaing
- Twitter campaing

PR outside cryptospace (In my opinion not now)(when btc breaks ath, is the right timing IMO)
- contact journalists campaing
- contact youtubers campaing

I like this coin but this wallet situation is becoming embarrassing.

OK so currently we are falling behind from block 260,000 's hard fork.

What this means is that the majority of the network is still on version 1.4.0.0 which has a different calculation for PoS blocks to version 1.5.0.0

Any PoS blocks generated on any wallet prior to version 1.5.0.0 will in fact be a wrong calculation but will be accepted as currently the majority of the wallets on the network have the old PoS code and that is still the general consensus/agreement between the wallets on the network.

If you are running the 1.5.0.0 Linux wallet you will notice your PoS blocks are not being accepted as the calculation is different to the rest of the network.
(Same as if you got any coin with PoS and changed just your code to give you 100000% interest, it wouldn't work as you are the only one running that code)

However, once the network switches to version 1.5.0.0 any PoS blocks generated after block 260,000 will not confirm.

What does this mean?

We may have to issue a blockchain of the current chain to users not synced and possibly have to induce another hardfork.

When will we know?

Once Windows and Mac wallets are launched and version 1.5.0.0 is the majority wallet and general consensus on the network.

So what is the current state-of-play?

Which version is the consensus version?  1.4.0.0 or 1.5.0.0?

I am still on 1.4.0.0, and staking.  Is there anything else I should/not be doing right now?

Respect is a really good thing, but is not everything... Smiley

I suppose the 1.4.0.0 is the right one, and will remain so until Devs manage to properly release the 1.5.0.0. Linux users are the minority, so new version will not take over until binaries for Windows and Mac are released.

OK so an update.

As everyone has probably worked out version 1.4.0.0 is the one to be using right now.

I will change the hardfork in version 1.5.0.0 to fork much later at around 350000 blocks into the chain.

I will amend this change on the GitHub and will work on getting the Windows and Mac wallets builts ASAP.

Apologies with the lack of updates but rest assured work is happening in the background not just on the wallets.

OK, fair enough, things change I suppose.  Roll Eyes

This means we now have 2 + 2*half developers, right?   Undecided

I really hope you can still do all the work between you, coz there is still a LOT to do.

Wasn't there going to be something called Sparrow??  Whatever happened to that?    And how is the multipool doing?

Oh, and best of luck to Matt!   Grin

It is actually a positive because ideas can be brought in and vice versa.

Sparrow will happen and Multipool IS happening.

Matt will update you on both Wink
