What's the cheapest way to set up a Burst miner? Is it better to buy an old desktop for cheap and then add on a fast SSD drive or would a standard 7200rpm drive work the same? Do the RAM and CPU requirements warrant buying a newer computer?

Show the address where I can donate to the development of the coin.
Hey jopara

I've been actively designing for Burst since I first saw the potential for it. First off I started with the new wallet UI + the new logo, along with the new OP (see the quote below). If you'd like to donate towards development you can donate some to : BURST-CKUG-2DLF-KNL6-EETXA. I'm not too sure about @burstcoin, address though.

@burstcoin: you are AWESOME!
@Wulfcastle: Thx for all that work, its so GOOD looking :-)

bouth of you should publish a burst address, so that we can donate!

This is my Burst address if anyone wants to donate for my work on the new Wallet UI, the new logo and the new OP. I've provided all my work free of charge and I don't ask for bounties, because improving BURST is a benefit to me as I see great potential for it. Donations are still welcome though Smiley - BURST-CKUG-2DLF-KNL6-EETXA

Also you can send some to uray who's working on the new block explorer and rich list for Burst : BURST-8E8K-WQ2F-ZDZ5-FQWHX

Quick question everyone

We are currently on block 3161, however the "Total Balance" when you click on NRS Version in the wallet shows 15 576 956. Does this mean that the total current supply is just over 15.5 Million? According to the block reward the total current supply should be just over 31.5 Million, which is the correct value for the total current supply?

Sure, why not?! But make your maths! You need lots of TB at this point to gain something everyday! And buying them on ebay you have to wait for the shipping while the difficulty increase! But I'm sure that when we'll hit a big exchange like Bittrex, the price will skyrocket! This is a big community and this coin is very innovative!

Is it safe an using a somebody else's node for NXT (and BURST) for trading trough AE now?
Earlier (in the winter) password transmitted to the node and the node do sign using the password.
Does the passphrase send to the node for signing or signing is a client-side procedure processed by javascript now?
- yes, there is client-side signing now.
But of course it is better to use your local Nxt server.
Because the public node owner theoretically can modify client-side javascript.

If you can implement a profit calculator? ie. blocks/tb at current diff.

we need to use plots that we already created Undecided
I'll be working on that next. Going to have to add some stuff to the protocol.

The the frond-end is lacking on the pool site. Also, the deadline is still kind of high for people that don't have a lot of storage space. Maybe that needs to be put around 100k~200k for share submission.

Could you elaborate a bit on this? I was under the impression the pool was run via command line? If there is a front-end let me know and I'll design the UI for it.

hi , can you design an icon that represent this coin, i mean, let it looks like a coin..i have suggested before, Burst can use your shape of "B", refer to Blackcoin's "B" coin icon, your shape is different from it, don't need to worry about the mix up, Dogo and darkcoin both have D, and Vrc, via, both have V,  Grin
