Is this ok? Making plots and mining at the same time? Yeah! Perfect! If you see some errors in the mining window, it's ok! They don't affect mining!

For those, who want to trade BURST, I've created the BURST Gataway on Nxt Asset Exchange (AE): Asset Name: 1000BURSTAsset ID: 251006016744564741Trading volumes: here or here. Each one asset represents 1000 BURST coins. In order to sell your BURTS coins with Asset Exchange, you should: 1] Obtain 1000BURST asset for your BURST coins; 2] Place sell order with your newly 1000BURST asset at Nxt Asset Exchange (see public Nxt nodes below); 3] When somebody buy you 1000BURST asset, you'll get some NXT coins (according to your price); 4] Sell that NXT coins at https://www.cryptsy.com/ or keep them if you want. So, 1] to get 1000BURST asset just send your BURST coins to the BURTS Gateaway address BURST-MCHC-LBKK-ZLZY-C3XL5 _and_ send an Arbitrary Message containing your NXT address (not in numeric, but in alpha-numeric format, like NXT-VVTV-U25N-U2FY-2V35H) to the same address. (I'll send 5 NXT along with a 1000BURST assets to depositors who do not have any NXT, so that they will be able to place orders and pay 1 NXT network commission)To guarantee smooth withdrawals, the amount of the 1000BURST assets in circulation will always be less then the balance of the BURTS Gateaway address (BURST-MCHC-LBKK-ZLZY-C3XL5). No sell orders from the issuing account will be placed. To withdraw your 1000BURST assets you should transfer them to this issuing account (NXT-VVTV-U25N-U2FY-2V35H) _and_ in the attached message place your BURST address (not in numeric, but alpha-numeric format, like BURST-MCHC-LBKK-ZLZY-C3XL5). Deposit/Withdrawal time: 12 hours max., usually much faster. Fees: currently 1% Deposits ( 0% for first 5 deposits), 1% Withdrawals (subject to change). Minimum Deposit: 1000 BURST (subject to change)Minimum Withdrawal: 1000 BURST (subject to change)To trade on Asset Exchange without local Nxt client you can use one of the public Nxt nodes: http://217.17.88.5:7876/ http://vps4.nxtcrypto.org:7876/ http://vps8.nxtcrypto.org:7876/ http://nxt.ravensbloodrealms.com:7876/ https://miasik.no-ip.org:7876/ https://162.243.145.83:7876/or use http://www.SecureAE.com/ web platform. You can buy some BURST coins (1000BURST assets) at Asset Exchange directly for BTC via http://www.SecureAE.com/ , or with NXT coins. You can get some NXT for fiat at instant automated exchange https://coinomat.com/ , or at CCEDK exchange (including North European currencies), or at p2p exchange https://nxtex.net/ (for PayPal, like at Localbitcoins). Or you can use cryptoexchanges like https://www.cryptsy.com/, https://poloniex.com/ , https://hitbtc.com/ , http://www.btc38.com/ . Be aware: BTer was hacked, so they stopped NXT/BTC trading. Happy BURST trading! For those who do not know: the trading at Asset Exchange is safe and trustless, because the trade occurs in a single transaction. And Asset Exchange cannot be suspended (like DGex) or hacked (like BTer), or collapsed (like shareXcoin). The only threat is that the issuer can refuse to withdraw. But I will not, please check my profiles at BTT ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=147961) and nxtforum ( https://nxtforum.org/index.php?action=profile;u=15), also you can check the volume of the similar FIMK Gateway: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=633304.msg8097620#msg8097620This Ratio is verry bad. 100000 Burst are 13$ an this Ratio. 1 nxt is 0.026 $. I would call it a scam.

Statement regarding the difficulty adjustment Anyone watching the recent blocks today has likely noticed we've had several 20+ minute blocks. The difficulty adjustment is at fault, since is only looking at the past 4 blocks. This seemed like a good idea originally to help the difficulty quickly catch up the network's actual hashrate on launch, but it only takes 2-3 fast and lucky blocks to give it enough momentum to drive it up onto the beach. A client update will be released later today.

Thx for the update. I was wondering why block #1957 is almost at 10 minutes. EDIT: Now we are at #1958 but it looks like it skipped the "deadline" when it went to #1985.

I've tried everything, always get: pocminer_v1$ {"errorCode":3,"errorDescription":"\"account\" not specified"} How do you get "BURST-ADDR-GOES-HERE"? I only see my password string and the converted output, which doesn't follow the public addresses I see on the forums such as BURST-CEJ9-9WFU-TCNN-XXXX

Current issue is that wallet PC is Linux CLI, so trying to figure out all the commands that can be ran via CLI. The wget method seems to work, I just can't find my BURST address which then opens up CLI working, a catch 22 I think haha.

Are there any community members with development skills who would like to help us (the community) out? With the approval of DEV we could assist in building other stuff so he can focus on rewriting the code to be able to mine with a pool (and some other stuff he is probably working on).
If so, send me a PM and let's see what we can achieve together!
First 5 members who send me a PM (and is willing to invest some time and skills into this coin) will receive 1000 burst each, paid from my own pocket.
this sounds like a plan but i think the main goal should be to develop a c version of the wallet and supply this to the exchanges. the nxt hack at bter was only a matter of time cause all is based on java....

HDD mining is very interesting concept, but is this possible to use HDDs to store some "community's usefull data"? Not only reserving space for hashpower (bytepower?), something like backup entire internet on miners HDDs. It may sound ridiculous but let's think about it
