Thanks to all who donated, we really appreciate your support.

As the faucet is not under the control of the Magi team, it would be better to donate smaller amounts like 10 coins or so. Joe will set up a dedicated donation address which are for marketing and development purposes. I have some ideas in my mind in regards of marketing, how to use those donations.

Some part of my donation were actually from http://xmg.maxbet.club . I took 100 xmg from the dice game + 100 from my own wallet.
But I hear you, it's better we have a dedicated donation address and then spread it from that donation address. Specially for donation out of the Magi team control.

Please be aware that you can vote for XMG listing at Askcoin every 10 minutes.
Of course there's no need to wait in front of the computer to vote every 10 minutes  Grin but 1 or 2 votes a day would be helpful.

@spexx
I spent a lot of time trying to set the right myminer.bat, but whatever I try, it does not connect to the pool. Could you please provide a clear example of what to fill out in what position?
I.e. to login on suprnova I use my emailaddress, not the username. What and where to fill out in the .bat file?

Ah right - a little confusion here which is probably my fault. In the Myminer.bat file you should use your pool account username, not your email address. You will have chosen this username when you signed up to the pool. When you have logged into the pool web site with your email address, it shows your username at the top right of the web site.

Be careful when editing the Myminer.bat file directly. If you really screw it up, it can be rebuilt easily using Setup.bat so no worries.

For jawitech ... the numbers (parameters #8 and #9 passed to automine.bat) after the stratum pool addresses control the windowing display and a time interval. The number of minerd instances is controlled by parameter #3 and is set to the number of processor cores in your computer by default, but making this parameter a blank (i.e. "") or zero is also valid and just means that the automine.bat will assume you want the same number of minerd instances running as the number of processor cores you have.

I just read that back and now I'm confused too Cheesy It all made sense at the time ....

Ah ok, didn't know it in detail and wanted to give first aid.

When creating my own bat file I had no problems but when dealing with other peoples problems, it's not so easy Cheesy

But even if it's a bit tricky, you did great work Spexx.

Great to hear!!

We all are part of a great team, the Magi community  Wink

Coders are like teachers, sometimes they think it looks pretty easy but for others it is not. But Spexx did great work, as well as MarcusDe.

Happy mining!

Hmm we do our best.
I understand that miners sell their XMG to cover the costs of their electricity.
On the other hand, there is no need to sell that soon.
The supply determines the price. If you sell too many XMG the price will drop.  XMG is only three months old and is still at the beginning of the expansion of the community.
There are many goals already achieved. There are many promotions starting and coming.
The feedback on the current promotions or achieved goals are sometimes quickly in the background by the amount of new posts that arrived.
Maybe It would be wise to wait a little longer with selling the coins. You do not have to pay the electricty costs  per day/week. Right. Its difficult to get new members in if they see that the price will go down a bit.
They will wait with buying until the price is stable. It is a sign of confidence.
We have a fantastic community and for the expansion is also help from the community needed.

Something is terribly wrong at the moment with block reward... (low diff, but no block larger than 5xmg...)
http://magi.nonce-pool.com/index.php?page=statistics&action=blocks

and it would be good to have explanation soon and/or fixes

You could invite friends to mine XMG, talk about it on social media just to spread the word about magi, come up with a clever idea how we all can use our xmg or something like that Smiley

I think nothing is wrong,we're now in PoW-II phase. Please read the op:
