Hi!
I might be a little off-topic here, probably.
Could you guys tell me, what has KH/s to do with my Processor? Wouldn't it be higher if I have a high-end CPU? What are your CPU specifications?
I am running it on i7-3770, but the hashrate is too low. Because, my Android works at ~10KH/s; where as my CPU works at ~50KH/s. Isn't it too low for a system with such configurations? Does network speed play a crucial role in attaining higher KH/s?
Absolute noob here.
Intel i7 - 3770 (3.40GHz) 8GB DDR3 RAM.
I'm able to push it to ~60 kh/s with the same cpu. Take in to consideration that using the computer while mining takes away a few kh/s What miner do you use? Is it windows or Linux system? Good miner software is in the first post. I am using Windows GUI m-cpuminer-qt for Windows 64bit. Tried 3-4 of the mentioned Miners in the first post. Almost all of them reach 50KH/s - 60KH/s at the max. Basically, wondering about other miners with 150+KH/s. What do they do to reach there!!! Since this is a CPUMiner Coin; renting a rig for it?

I'm still using the old spexx miner, but haven't been mining much recently - I'm making more from staking and trading

Keep in mind, that i7 you are using is 5 years old, so you can't expect super high hashrates. as for that xeon, how old is it? Anyone getting 150 KH/s is using a server with multiple cores, as in a xeon with 16-24 threads. So its not surprising that a 4 core i7 is half of that. In case anyone is wondering the miner I use is here: https://github.com/JayDDee/cpuminer-opt

Good miner software is in the first post. Currently running Manjaro linux dist, miner hast been compiled from source with CFLAGS="-O3" - https://github.com/magi-project/m-cpuminer-v2Running the miner with -t 7 -e 85 flags so i can push it higher Running it with -t 8 -e 100 gives I wonder as well. I'm running dual Xeons with 24GB of ram and only hitting ~70Kh/s
Which xeons? There's large range of xeons with both low and high count of cores / threads. Can't remember the model of the xeons i've tested it on but was able to push that up to ~120-140kh/s (this was back in 2014, been a while now ) That system ran with 32 threas (16 cores).

The cpuminer-opt is faster unber Ubuntu. But the windows binary is slower. I do not know how to compile faster under window.
